I was approached by a talent scout in Menlo Mall, Edison NJ, by a woman who stopped me and said, "You obviously got the look going, how bout joining this agency."

I wrote my details and got a call back from a representative saying they would like to interview me. They had a lot of good looking people filled with poor hopeful want to be models, and it looked legitimate. The director for my interview told me i had the look and everything, i was photogenic, would work great in pictorials, blah blah blah, and showed me some magazines of their so-called models who got big time.

They pressured me and my parents for a photoshoot that costed $500-$1500, so my parents chose the $700. They required immediate payment. She reassured my that i would be perfect for some type of modeling.

I was thinking that the photoshoot would take a good amount of time, considering it said on the photoshoot agreement, " From your arrival at our offices, you shood expect for 2-7 hours to elapse prior to the completion of the Photoshoot"

There was a make-up lady with an attracting model, who i now thought was suspicious considering she was being there just for some touch ups and chatting

comfortably with the make-up lady. So i was called next, and she put some make-up which in the photos make me look like a maniquen doll. The photoshoot lasted about 5-7 minutes.

After that ,we were called up to the "Offficial Director" picking my "best" photos and pressured me and my dad to go with online composite cards. She said you probably would'nt get chosen by any modeling agency if you chose 3-6 months up to another $450, so i begged my dad for a 3 year membership plan($1800 changed to $1600 after "negotiation" to their website, where thousands of modeling scouts or agencies, are looking for new faces.

I feel bad for my dad pressuring him into the so called three year deal. In all they spent $2300, for what, just a few photos that would not be looked at, at all. Its been almost a year and no phone calls. So today i decided to look at this site again, and typed in scams, and here i found similar cases of families getting ripped-off by hundreds and thousands of dollars.
