This company is the most ridiculous/unprofessional company I have ever came into contact with. After recently graduation from UMiami..I put my resume on Monster. This company kept harassing me and made the job seem like a dream job. They promised over 40 grand for the first year..that was a joke! You earn WAY less than that... which seems like slave labor for the amount of work you do. You have to be in the office 7am sharp until 5pm...and they usually make you stay WAY longer than that. Not to mention they completely rip off their contractors. Everyone in the office is between 22-25 years old...and it's not just at this office it's every office nation wide. No one over the age of 25 is stupid enough to put up with this slave labor, that's why they prey on all of the recent graduates. Beware fellow grads..don't waste your time on these people! It's not worth the paycheck that they promise (which ends up being half).

I have had just the opposite experience with Insight Global.  I've been an IT contractor for over ten years and have worked multiple years with most of the nation's largest technical contract companies.  I am presently on a contract secured for me by Insight Global and it has actually been better than they presented it to me.  The staff I dealt with was honest and personable and I have no complaints at all.  I would work with them again if the opportunity presented itself.  Perhaps telling a prospective employee that a job is not really a possibility for them is just a nice way of saying "we don't have anything for a person with your resume".  I tend to judge things for myself until proven otherwise and so far, Insight Global has been a fine experience for me.

Hard work pays off!

I have to respectively disagree with this report. I have been working with the company since the beginning of the year and have seen nothing but success. I never thought I would have an opportunity to work for such a great company at such a young age. I came in with a great mind set knowing that I was going to have to work hard to get the promotion I wanted and to reap the benefits.

Yes, the hours may seem long but what job are you going to find that has such great rewards while only working 40 hrs a week? You can't be successful without working hard long hours and that is the mind set the the young, driven, successful people within this company have.

So yes, I may work 60 hrs a week but when you put in the time and hard work it pays off!

Insight Global - for those willing to work to achieve their goals

The best way in which I can respond to the aforementioned accusations is only to cite my own experiences with Insight Global and hope that the evidence sways anyone beyond the initial subject line shock factor of this original complaint.

I can only assume that when our corporate recruiter "harrassed" this person into interviewing and eventually accepting a position with Insight Global that they did an excellent job following up after each step in the process and making sure that the candidate was well prepared for each interview.  The "promised" compensation package is obviously a combination of base and commission pay, which varies considerably based upon employee performance and the rigor and dedication with which one pursues said compensation.

Insight Global prides itself on an early start.  You will find no equivocation there.  We outwork our competition day in and day out.  This is precisely why we, day in and day out, beat out our competitition to business.  We reap the fruits of our labor and it is hard-earned.

We recruit a young workforce in order to best prepare young salespeople and young recruiters for the trials of a long sales career with Insight Global.  Anyone coming in with previous staffing or sales experience may well have picked up bad habits that cannot be rectified.  We do not accept mediocrity nor a lackluster attitude toward business.  Insight Global is not for the faint of heart or sedentary individual.  Insight Global is for those willing to work for their success.  And in that hard work success is won.  Both before 7am and after 5pm.

Insight Global- Endless Opportunities

As a current employee of Insight Global I am completely saddened by some of the negative comments that have been posted on this website.  While it is true that Insight Global employees work 7am - 5pm, (and yes, at seldom times it does require overtime), the opportunities for success this company offers are endless.  (I can also personally promise that I made over 40K my first year within this company.  The commission structures speak for themselves, and unlike other companies where there is a maximum commission cap, the sky is the limit with IGI.)  We work with Fortune 1000 companies, have been one of the largest growing IT Staffing Agencies 3 years in a row, and are STILL growing in a poor economy.  Insight Global is truly a company where hard work pays off, and pays off well.

This job might not be for everyone; but for hardworking individuals who want to be successful and work in a great environment with fun people, it would be a huge mistake to overlook Insight Global.

I have worked for Insight Global for a number of years, and I must tell recent college graduates- do not listen to this person!

I began my career here after an on-campus recruiting interview and two in-office interviews. The company has delivered on everything we discussed in the interview. We work hard, a typical day is from 7:15-5:00, but the time flies by because you are working with other motivated, career-oriented, social employees. You are not stuck in a cubicle, you're not just a "number", instead you are a valued employee who could even take a leadership postition in the company within a few years! Anytime a person says something like "it was too hard" or "they expected too much of me", or "people were stupid," or "it was slave labor", I can tell that the person who wrote the report was not made for sales. Sales and relationship management is for people who are willing to work harder than their competition, keep a positive attitude and enjoy working in a social environment. Not everyone is made for this, obviously, but if you think you are, then interview and see for yourself if it is right for you.

Anything worthwhile...is hard

I don't think your perspective is shared by many successful people.  Anything worthwhile usually take alot of hard work.  I don't think any ambitious person would think the way you are thinking.

When I graduated from college, I expected to work hard, work late, and do whatever it takes to make a name for myself.

Does anyone else feel like I do?
