According to the Charlotte Observer, a judge in Wake County has issued a temporary restraining order to shut down the Instant Tax Service offices on Freedom Drive, Boulevard Suite, and Franklin Blvd in Gastonia. The restraining order is a result of the false advertising, extremely high fees, and the filing of tax returns without the customer's permission. North Carolina's Attorney General is seeking a permanent ban on Instant Tax Service, but this will not happen if people do not stand up for themselves. Please contact the state's Attorney General office and let them know what is happened to you & if you know someone else who has been a victim of Instant Tax Service, encourage them to contact the Attorney General as well. It is time that we stop this company from taking advantage of hard working people!!!
