Instant Tax Service Scammed and Mislead Milwaukee, Wisconsin
I went in to get a loan on 12/27 of up to 1000. Come to find out no one got a 1000 loan, only 50 or 100 and i brougt my last pay stub. When I came back 1/23 with my W2 and school info. I was told my taxes were filed with the IRS and accepted 1/17 and would receive my check by 2/3! I remember asking my preparer at the time how much my refund would go up with my school info, so he knew i had more info. to file. When I asked him about this when I came 1/23 he said he did remember me; i told him I had no clue about them filing my taxes, who would agree to that. He said don't worry, when I get my refund we will amend the taxes for free. I now know that it will take 8-12 weeks to receive my add'l money once I send in the amendment! Lots of other angry clients were in there with the same complaints...don't go there! I never told them how I wanted my funds and don't have a tax packet. I heard that this company is known for shutting down and not giving people their refunds! The IRS needs to step in, they are ripping people off. I will post another comment when and if I receive my money.
