I work customer service for pharmacies so I know about when some of these things happen and I am one of the people that does my best to resolve them. But it's better to stop them before they happen. You, and everyone else in the world needs to put fraud prevention security on their credit cards. My card is set up so that if any charges come up that are from an online or overseas source without my prior approval, they are automatically blocked until I give my approval. I think I'll probably also make it so if there are any charges made from outside of my state that those will be flagged too because it isn't just foreign people that commit credit card fraud. Also when making an order over the phone, only give your credit card number the first time. If someone calls back asking to verify your card number for any reason, don't do it unless you can find and verify the problem with your credit card company. The company I work, support-billing.com encrypts all credit card numbers the moment they are entered so no one can see all but the last 4 numbers.
