Please try to understand though, that RX-Connect is NOT billing you. The merchant is billing you and using RX-Connect to process the transaction. RX-Connect is a disinterested third party, only acting as a processing agent for the suspect pharmacy you are dealing with. It is a descriptor used by a company called Bardo. They use many different descriptors for their merchants. But they utilize the descriptor RX-Connect for their pharmacy accounts. In lieu of the fact that they have previously given accounts to 'bad' pharmacies, they are now willing to allow 'better, more reputable" pharmacies thankfully to have their own descriptor. But the real problem lies with whatever merchant you purchased from online. If you notify their customer service, and tell them that you were overcharged, they should reverse the charge through their gateway to the credit card processing company.. unless they are crazy or something. Better to deal with online sites which have been in business for a long time, and have a reputation for being honest. Shailash

Update: I was finally credited (and charged again and credited again) until FINALLY I received my full credit of $380 (for two charges of $190 each). Response to Rebuttal: While it is true IP-RX Connect is NOT the MERCHANT charging the card, (and charging the card, and charging the card...) the PROCESSOR can choose to do business with MERCHANTS THAT DON'T RIP CUSTOMERS OFF. The RIPOFF MERCHANTS NEED TO BE STOPPED. Additionally, people need to know how to find the legitimate pharmacies that won't rip them off. If more customers could find legitimate merchants that only charge as agreed upon, and then perform as intended, this RIPOFF site would not have any comments like mine. And note, mine is not the only report regarding this issue.

I read this report and want to comment and clarify some misconceptions created. RX-Connect is NOT an online pharmacy. RX-Connect is the descriptor that appears on a customer's credit card statement after purchasing from one of many online pharmacies. Although the descriptor may be the same, the actual credit card processor is Bardo INC. They process Visa Credit Card purchases for quite a few online pharmacies. We own an online pharmacy, Medsindialtd.com and have been in business for many, many years. Although when our customers purchase from us and the descriptor on their credit card statement will be RX-Connect... if a customer is billed more than once, it is not RX-Connect that is collecting the double payment, but rather the merchant, or owner of the site which was used to make a purchase. RX-Connect, or Bardo, is not the culprit. Often when there is double billing, it is because of glitches at the online site where the purchase was made. RX-Connect just fields the info entered from the site and processes it. If an order is sent to their computers twice, it gets processed that way. Such thiings occur online, not frequently, but occasionally, and an online pharmacy with any kind of respectable customer service personnel reviews orders each day to make sure that there are no double entries. When they are, the second charge is always refunded. BUT, this is the responsibility of the pharmacy site, not the credit card processor. It is almost like saying that VISA ripped you off, because you were charged twice. It's not the processor, it's the merchant. Anyway, I just want to mention that there is more than one online pharmacy using the descriptor RX-Connect, and although one or two of them may be sister sites, many are not related in any way, shape or form. The availability of online processors for the International mail order of prescription meds is dwindling. There are not very many out there, and quite a few of the ones who were operational previously, really were crooks. Sometimes stealing hundreds of thousands from honest merchants. Very soon, there will be no credit card processing left for this industry, due to chargebacks and fraud. I ask that you be aware of what is the reality here, and not expect that this letter is just some trickery. It is not. As a result of this post, some of our customers have become wary about purchasing from us. This is unwarranted, as we are honest, and replace any lost orders for free, and also track all deliveries, so there is no question about shipments. Thank you.
