Complaint Review: ITT Technical Institute - Henderson Nevada

I have been reading these neg. reports for several years about ITT and I agree completely. I am a former victim (student)and have also been ripped off by these criminals. They are, without a doubt, a orginized criminal enity who extorts billions of dollars by targeting America's less fortunate and taking advantage of thier desire to get an education. Due to short and canceled class session, ITT failed to provided the amount of instruction I paid them in advance for. Then lied about it. They also altered loan documents without my permission. They lied about that as well. They breeched our contract and commited fraud. I'm in California and state law (Cal. Ed. Code)says that the contract is unenforceable and the school is liable if they lie, mislead, alter, fabracate, misinform, deceive, etc. in any way. The law's very specific and leaves little room for doubt. ITT even eventually admitted that they follow a "common practice" of entering info or altering signed student FAFSA forms in order to secure funds and acting in the "students best interest" (Yea right! It's so they are sure to get paid.) But it's illegal as h**l. The contract locks students into binding arbitration. So we go into arbitration and ITT hires this high power attorney (I sure they paid him more than I was asking for) my claim was denied. Why you might be asking? Good question. I don't know. There was no reasoning, it just read "claim denied" and that was it. I don't know nor do I understand how I lost or how can the arbitrator rule in direct opposition of the law? It stinks of corporate corruption. But I'm done playing this game and I tired of playing by thier rules. I say the contracts unenforcable according to the law and so I'm not bound by the arbitration and I'm going to Superior court to sue them for fraud and damages. I'm also willing to turn over copys of the opening and closing briefs, all the evedence, anything I have to any interested agency or public enity who will help us stop this terrorism. These people truely are greedy scumbags who line there pockets with taxpayer dollars while people are plummeted into financial ruin. They are diminishing our countries faith in higher education and distroying our future. The lifes of innocent people who's only crime was the desire to learn are also being destroyed and it has to be stopped. People need to stand up for things that matter like morels,integrity and honesty. Don't people believe in God or have a conchance? Has greed over taken this entire country? I hope not. Because if it has, and oginizations like ITT are allowed to carry on, America's future, our chikdrens future is in big, big trouble.

Hello, I currently work in admissions at an ITT Tech. I've been working there for two and half months. It is my first job out of grad school (yes i have an m.a. and i'm working at this piece of crap school). Two weeks after I started at ITT Tech I began searching for a new job. The way ITT Tech functions makes me physically ill. Since I started learning the various ways they rip off not only their students, but also their employees, I've had a hard time sleeping at night. The only reason I haven't quit so far is because I think it will look awful on my resume, and i would like to get into admissions at a real school where students are more than a number and a profit margin. I don't know what kind of information you need to further your efforts to stop ITT Tech from being the fraudulent corporation that it is, but I will try to help. So far, I don't think they do anything illegal. In fact, since their problems with the FBI, I think the have taken great measures to make sure their butts are covered. To whom it may concern, I've posted numerous times on this website about how ITT Tech is a waste of money and time. I would just like to offer my help in any way possible because I believe so called institutions such as these should be shut down and not have a negative effect on young students.
