On 09-10-07 I ordered the book The Weightloss Cures from itvcorporate. The advertisement claimed that I would receive The Weightloss Cures book for $19.95 with a special bonus of his two other books Natural Cures and More Natural Cures for free.

On the invoice it stated thatthe shipping would be $9.95 for a total of $29.90. I thought, Pretty Good Deal for three books. I entered the shipping and credit card information and placed the order.

While the order was processing, I was brought to a webpage that told me that the two bonus books could be received for an an additional $9.95 shipping charge for EACH bonus book! This would have made the true total $49.80.

There was no way to cancel my order on the web site. I did get a confirmation e-mail which indicated that I had been charged $29.90 for The Weightloss Cures book plus shipping. I e-mailed the customer service e-mail address, and told them to cancel my order. No response back, of course.

Of courde the number provided stated that the offices were closed for the night and to call back at 8:30AM. When I did this the following morning, I chose "Billing Question" on the phone menu and was placed on hold for over ten minutes. I called back and chose "Shipment Inquiry", and again, on hold for over ten minutes. I called back and chose "Place Order".

After listening to a five minute schpiel about how dedicated the owner of ITV Corporate was to providing me, the ever so "important customer", and then another schpiel regarding a product for joint remedy, I was connected to a sales person. I asked to talk to a supervisor, and he aid he'd like to try to help me first. When I indicated I wanted to ancel an order, he said, "You can not cancel an order."

I asked to talk to a manager, and was told that even if I talk to a manager, I would not be able to cancel my order. I asked again, to talk to a manager. I was then transferred to a manager's voice mail, and I hungup, knowing I was getting nowhere.

I then contacted my bank and relayed the above information, and I am currently in the process of cancelling through my bank. I believe there will be affidavits involved, and I will have to possibly cancel my debit card and have it re-issued to insure I will not be charged in the future by this ripoff company.

Don't get caught up in this compny scams and ripoffs!
