What is your complaint?
It sounds like you are mad because they didn't give you a loan.
You also said "a bankruptcy, an unpaid student loan, unexpected medical bills"
Why would anyone give you a car and trust you to make payments when your history is not making payments?
Be happy that they didn't finance you into something you cant pay for.

Even bottom feeders like JD Byrider have their limits. You sound like a walking credit disaster. There comes a point where your credit is so bad that no one is going to lend you thousands to buy a car.
Consider yourself lucky that they passed on you. When you get to that level you are sold an old beat up lemon that is priced like a new car, then they tack on some ridiculous interest rate like 30% on top of that. The end result is that you will end up digging your credit hole even deeper.
If you were to save the money that you would have used to make the outrageous payments, you would be able to buy a decent used car for cash within several months.
