J.D. Marvel Super Booster Antenna Rip-Off
I ordered the ClearVue Super Booster Indoor Mini-Dish TV/FM Antenna the first week of November 2001. I had learned about the company through sales coupons repeatedly mailed to me. November 13, 2001 my cheque was cashed. I expected a 4 - 6 week wait for delivery, but counted on receiving the booster before Christmas. In the beginning of January, I received a sales catalogue from them in the mail. I assumed that since I had received this catalogue, the booster should arrive any day. Boy, was I wrong! I e-mailed J.D. Marvel Products in mid January and received a brief e-mail back that said the product had been back ordered and I should be receiving it in a few weeks. I recently sent them another e-mail, stating that 4 months had passed since my cheque has been cashed, demanding the product or the return of my money. I also stated that I would be taking legal action if this problem was not cleared up immediately. I have yet to hear a response. I was searching for their website today to locate the e-mail address again, and was astonished to find this site and that a supposedly reputable company has been ripping everyone off! I wish I had looked into the company better first before ordering.
