J Mac Radiator Keith Gas Tank Repair was considered Experimental at consumers cost Salt Lake City Utah
We hava an after market oversized gas tank on our diesel truck. It began to leak a year ago. We took it to be repaired at a local shop, who sent it to J Mac Radiator to be repaired. The problem of the leaking gas tank was never repaired, it kept leaking fuel. We took the truck in 4 times within the past year to have the problem fixed, assuming J Mac guarenteed their work. The last time we took it in we were informed J Mac wouldn't stand behind the repair and said they couldn't fix it. I called and spoke with Keith (J Mac), he informed me this was an experiment for a new process, and that they had had other tanks with the same problem, I was then told there wasn't anythikng they could do for us, they couldn't fix the tank and we would have to purchase a new one. If we were informed that this leak wasn't repairable , we would have purchased a new tank in the beginning, now we are out over $1100. and have to purchase a new tank.
