For any of you out there deciding on whether or not to do business with Jennifer Johnson, or more specifically the J Walker Ranch in Temecula California look at the Better Business Bureau's website and type in her name and address (complaint ID 98261484).

There you will find another report concerning Jennifer Johnson, her insane antics and not one, but two seperate dealings with this woman regarding her knowingly false sales practices and her willingness to "rook" unsuspecting/trusting customers...whom she will later call any number of expletives, and insults relating to them not being suitable for horse ownership.

Jennifer Johnson is every bit of what you read in this woman's report. Do Not Buy a Horse from this Ranch! If you believe you were fraudulently dealt with by this company I urge you to file a complaint with the BBB, and forward a copy of your complaint on to any and all public and state agencies related to business licensing.

In response to Joel's comments, here are the facts: The report that Joel is referring to (Christines') has been resolved to her complete satisfaction. Please see her comments below Joel's. The horse in question is a fabulous horse who has been placed with a wonderful family who absolutely loves him and rides him everywhere with no problems what so ever. It is a very well known fact that a horse can react differently in a variety of situations, including, but not limited to, the rider's confidence or axiety, a new home and surroundings, etc.. A horse can be perfect for one person and not for another. This is why we offer to exchange the horse for up to one year. We don't want our customers or our horses to be unhappy. Secondly, with regards to Joel's experience with J Walker Ranch, here are the facts: Joel was given a FULL refund by J Walker Ranch in order to complete any and all business dealings with him after we realized Joel was completely unfit for horse ownership, purchased a horse with dishonest intentions and displayed threatening behavior towards me personally and my company, J Walker Ranch. We wanted to protect our horses and our property from Joel. Joel Tracey's harrassment and threats resulted in my husband contacting the police to inform the authorities of Joel's threats and continued unwanted communication. Unfortunately, it would appear, that Joel's harrassment continues. His strange vendetta against J Walker Ranch is beyond comprehension. J Walker Ranch has sold over 600 horses to wonderful people all over the country. On our website www.jwalkerranch.com you will find many testimonials to our business practices and our very happy and satisfied customers and friends. In conclusion, J Walker Ranch would like to add: Seller Beware of Joel Tracey! You do not want ANY business dealings with this individual for the reasons listed above!

In October, 2006 my husband and I both purchased horses from Jen at J Walker Ranch. The horse for my husband was young and inexperienced, but started under saddle. Jen represented him as such. My husband and I are both experienced riders, and knew we had some work cut out for us. He has turned out to be a wonderful, beautiful example of the breed. My horse was a consignment sale Jen was representing for a friend. After getting him home, we found he was very afraid of bicycles. Since we live in an area of multi-use trails (lots of bikes), we considered exchanging him. I sent Jen an email to discuss the possibility. She sent an email back immediately telling me to bring the horse back to exchange with another that was better suited to the area. She showed a commitment to her contract and an interest in our safety as well as the well-being of the horse. After several sleepless nights, we decided to keep the horse. He has improved tremendously with time and lots of patience, and is a very enjoyed and loved member of our family. Jen also let us know in December, 2006 that a friend of the previous owner was interested in purchasing him back for the previous owner, and we would receive full credit for the exchange if we were still having any trouble with him. We declined. Since purchasing the horses we have contacted Jen several times for different reasons, and found her responsive and helpful. I can only share our experience. I would be willing to purchase another horse (or two) from Jennifer Johnson.

You can take this vindictive gentleman at his word or you can read this rebuttal. Joel purchased a horse to impress a woman with whom he was trying to form a relationship. (Unfortunately, we were not aware of his intentions or we would not have sold him a horse) Anyway, once the woman made it clear she was not interested, Joel wanted to return his horse for a full refund. We normally have an "exchange only" policy but Joel insited on a refund. After months of Joel harrasing our family including making false reports to a number of county agencies, I was concerned for the safety of my family and gave Joel a full refund several months ago. I'm not sure why all of a sudden Joel has made this report on this website when he received a full refund several months ago and we considered the matter closed.
