Jack Dawson posing as an attorney, said i owe for online loan to america cash advance unknown california
Received an email from a person named Jack Dawson that says he is a Sr attorney Claims I owe 978 for an online loan i did not pay from America Cash Advance. or i will be prosecuted in court. I Almost gave banking debit card info to set up installment payments. Now he has my cell number as i gave the number. He emailed me because the last number was no longer used.My social is incorrect that he listed as well as the spelling of my last name. I called him today to make arrangements to pay.Said I need to make 3 payments and need to begin asap to prevent being arressted and prosecuted in court. email came from [email protected]

Don't send him any money. It is a scam. If you have already given your bank account number, get in touch with your bank and change accounts. Didn't you recognize that the email is not an official email - that it is set up on a free account?
Go to FTC(dot)gov and read up on how to recognize a scam.
