The same sort of problems happen to me when I had purchaced my 1995 Cutlass Supreme the alternator went and the battery had made all the gauges in my car go funny. Since I had the extended warrenty I called the 1800 number on the contract that is given to me. They told me to pay for the work and they will reinburse me the complete work because it was covered in the warrenty. Which they did the next day. If it is not covered you should look around for someone who is going to do the work for a resonable price. You have to face it if you buy a car you need to be able to pay for the things that may go wrong. I understand that you buy it from a dealership and you think it is going to be the best. But remeber that this is used and the car was massed produced by a machine and you take your chances when you buy any car. Just take it in stride and pay the bill for it
