jeannette mullins, aka Carol Collamore aka Mac Roland Offered to buy bike, requested shipping costs prior to crediting Paypal. Used fake paypal emails. Topeka Kansas
Jeannette Mullins offered to buy my motorcycle advertised on Cycle Trader Ad, agreed to pay through Paypal, but at last minute sent fake Paypal email saying account would be credited with additional money to cover shipping. The money for shipping would have to be paid to shipper via Western Union prior to the Paypal account being credited for full sale price.
There were a number of fake emails purportedly from Paypal indicating my account was being credited, instructions for sending Western Union cash and indicating that response could only be to Paypal through the email link that was fake. This was all confirmed by Paypal to be fake and all email were forwarded to Paypal but I doubt they will do much despite having the email address and phone number.
Paypal responses were boiler plate and did not acknowledge true nature of the whole situation. It was apparent to me almost from the beginning, but waited until I had proof this was a total scam.
