I saw an ad in our local newspaper for two loving Yorkshire puppies for adoption-friendly with children and other pets... and to contact via email for more info. I thought because he had taken an ad out in the paper that he would be more legitiment than an ad on the internet so I requested more information, pictures etc. from him and this is the email he sent back:

Thanks for the email. I quite appreciate your interest in Adopting my yorkies. But the question is that will my yorkies Puppies be able to find a lovely home with you??? Do you have a yard where the yorkies can always play around???Is there any Children that can have time to play with the yorkies mean while the yorkies will never stay lonely???Is there other puppies that my Puppies can play with or kids???If so i will be very glad and happy to give out my babies to you.
Have left the state few days ago presently in West Africa to serve God and humanity for Missionary work.After i posted the ad before i left, i did not get any response from anybody that could take very good care of them for me, I came along with prime intention of taking care of my Pups in continuation, but unfortunately the weather here in Africa is not conducive for my babies.. This is how i have made up my mind through prayers and painstaking efforts in search for a reliable and God fearing person to help me take good care of my yorkies like his or her own babies. My little babies are only 11 weeks old and has a current vaccination,vet check,health certificate and 1 year health guarantee.My pups has potty trained,home raise and socialized for tremendous attitude with A.K.C Registered.We are not charging or selling them to you for money but to save their life's saved and care for them so this means that, you and i will be paying for the Airline charges of the puppies to be Deliver to you.I will be very glad to have you as a good caring parent for my babies only if you can take good care of the yorkies as your own baby.. Actually money is not what matters, but to find a good caring and loving person. If you could be able to do these kindly send your contact details such as follow, and also find the attached pictures of the both puppies,Their names are Rose and Scout.

WHAT A SCAM!! HE EVEN SENT ME 4 PICTURES OF THE PUPPIES. IF YOU GOOGLE HIS EMAIL ADDRESS YOU WILL SEE TONS OF THE SAME ADD FOR "LOVING YORKIE PUPPIES" I also found an add with him providing a phone number: 713-370-5652 -when you call this number it says "the magic jack customer you are trying to reach is not available" Im sure this guy will change his email address and his story but DO NOT FALL FOR IT!! I told him I was trying to adopt a dog for my family and my daughters 6th birthday... he tries to play with your emotions, telling you that you'll be saving their life because they are overseas with him and the weather is bad. I hope no one falls for this sick scam!!!

I emailed him questioning if it were a scam and stating I had researched this method of adopting an animal and he immediately wrote me back telling me to have faith in God and that he is a christian man, and him and his wife could not do such a thing. Right away he started pushing to get payment sent. Told me the shipping company needed to receive payment in 90 minutes to be able to ship out the puppies in time and get them out of the terrible weather.
He said I would be responsible for "only" half the shipping bill, $300 and to western union it to THOMAS SAMSON, the guy at the shipping company. He then started calling me pressing me to act quick and stating over and over to just HAVE FAITH.
Here's another email he sent:

once again thanks for the love and care you are showing in getting and caring for my babies,.we don't have any doubt giving our babies to you...we have prayed about this and we are sure you will care for our babies.. i just off the phone with Mr Thomas the shipper in charge and the he said if they could get your part payment in 90mins the babies will start there journey with the next set of puppies today..which would be 7:00pm African time .. and 2pm your time..right now as i email my wife is on her way to make our part payment of $300 at the shipping company..also the babies are at the shipping company and they are only expecting the payment confirmation from you to confirm the babies will be leaving by evening here....So below is the shipper in charge western union payment information where you need to send the $300 to at any GROCERY STORE around to the information provided below so that i can go over to the shipping company.

I told him I needed a receipt so I had to pay the shipping company directly and asked for the website. He told me the website was HI.com but the website is underconstruction-HA! Well, what do you know, when you pull it up- "This site is under construction" is ALL that it says!
I told him to stop contacting me! If you google the name Thomas Samson there are bad reports on him doing an internet dating scam! DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO THIS THIEF!!
