Loyd, First, let me congradulate you for having received a $9,700 refund from Mentoring of America. When I got refunded my full $7,000 plus, it took 3 deposits from Mentoring of America's side over a period of 10 days to complete my refund. In other words, I got $4,500 credited into my account the first day, then another $2,000 a week later, then a few days after that the remainig $500 or so appeared into my bank account. So from the time I deposited my Mentoring of America refund check at the bank, it was about 10 days until I saw the full ammount of that check back into my bank account. There is no reason you should not be getting your remaining $3,800 credited back as well. I would keep a close eye on your account over the next several days and look for that remaining ammount to appear seperately as well. If it does not, keep fighting them, call investigator Ao Pauga, and let him know and see what he tells you. I also took all 10 coaching calls like you did, and they still refunded me in full. All the calls and information give where complete garbage. I recorded them on tape. After call #2, I started to demand my money back from Mentoring of America because the coach gave me completely false information about buliding a credit history and about puchasing forclousures in my city. They coldly turned down my requests, so I had no choice but to continue with the phony calls. I mentioned this in my complaint with the Utah Division.

I have just received a $9,700.00 refund on my credit card, although it was not the full $12,500.00, it was better than not receiving any refund, this was in response to a claim I filed with the F.T.C. a month earlier, before I filed with Utah, Dept. Of Consumer Protection, so the F.T.C. reached M.O.A. first, and the arbitration was a refund of $9,700.00, I was charged only for the 10 coaching sessions, since I did take them, as far as the qaulity of coaching I received is subjective in itself, I neverless did take that service of the training, and at least, I received the bulk of my money back, I will definatly use this as a learning curve for any future business endever, food for thought question, are there any true legitimate, be your own boss opportunities out there, in that they are tangible, and within reach for most people who do not have deep pockets for business startup costs?? The people at Mentoring of America are complete frauds who continually cheat and coerce people out of thousands of dollars each with fradulent business practices. BRYAN BUTAS, an employee of Mentoring of America in 2005 was arrested and jailed for insurance fraud last year. He purchased a $250K life insurance policy, then faked and staged his own death and dissapearence. He mislead and caused local St. George Utah sheriff authorities to launch an extensive manhunt looking for him thinking he was injured or lost in a local hiking trail near St. George, Utah where he said he would be. Local authorities wasted about $20,000 of taxpayer dollars for nothing looking for this guy. He was tracked down by local sheriff authorities and found alive hiding in Queensland, Australia. Here is the news coverage on it with video: Copy and paste the links to your internet brower. Link 1: abc4.com/mediacenter/default.aspx?videoId=21904 Link 2: kutv.com/topstories/local_story_282184920.html His boss, TYLER TRUMAN of St. George, Utah is another Mentoring of America employee who he himself has scammed several people on this website of out thousands of dollars each with lies, and false misleading statements and bogus promises. He a fraud himself. Here is one detalied complaint against TYLER TRUMAN: ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff208959.htm And here is yet another complaint againts this same TYLER TRUMAN again doing the same thing: ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff155290.htm Both worked for Mentoring of America THE SAME TIME in 2005 when TYLER TRUMAN'S 1st complaint was filed on this website. So both worked for Mentoring of America during this incident. TYLER TRUMAN still works for Mentoring of America today at their descrete and unlisted Washington, Utah office. 204 East Playa Delia Rosita #6 Washington Utah 84780 U.S.A. Phone: 435-627-1825 Fax: 435-627-1800 This same Mentoring of America street address has done business under different names or is associated in some way with names such as "Foreclosure World", "Professional Consulting Services", "Jordan Publishing", and "IDI Global". Same fradulent practices having to do with real estate. See them here: badbusinessbureau.com/view.asp?id=141500&view=printer Mentoring of America is an extensive scheme with several different offices throughout Utah, and known to operate under different names. They are associated with John Beck, Jeff Paul, John Alexander and many more entities and businesses in a complex intergrated association that is hard to follow or decipher. They often disconnect and switch business phone numbers. Several of the phone numbers listed on the BBB are out of service and unreachable. The new numbers are not listed. Like the Washington, Utah office above. Because of corrupt employees like TYLER TRUMAN, Mentoring of America has been under legal lawsuits in Utah numerous times here in the last few months alone. See the video yourself. wkrc.com/mediacenter/?videoId=10945=9 Stay away from this company and it's many complex faces and business associations. All they want is your money, and they will charge you a price according to your available credit on your credit cards.

On October 21, 2004 Mentoring of America, LLC entered into a settlement agreement with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection (the Division). According to the terms of the agreement, Mentoring of America, LLC agreed to pay a fine of $2,000 and comply with all provisions of the Consumer Sales Practices Act and the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act in future consumer transactions in the state of Utah. Mentoring of America, LLC also agreed that within 30 days it would submit a completed application for telemarketing under the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, and make refunds within ten days in the amounts previously agreed to with the Division to those consumers whose names were previously listed and others whose complaints were pending with the Division of Consumer Protection.
On October 28, 2005 Mentoring of America, LLC entered into a settlement agreement with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection (the Division). According to the terms of the agreement, Mentoring of America, LLC agreed to comply with all requirements of the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act, Utah Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, Business Opportunity Act and all other laws and rules administered by the Division applicable to them. The company agreed to pay an administrative fine to the Division, and make refunds by December 31, 2005 to consumers referenced in the agreement. The company also agreed to resolve and refund, without Division action, all other consumer complaints similarly situated under the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act, Utah Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, and Utah Business Opportunity Act that are filed with the Division in the future and that occurred prior to this settlement agreement. The company further agreed to disclose in a clear and conspicuous manner the products and/or services represented in their sales presentations as well as whom will be providing those products and/or services. Nothing in the agreement should be construed as an admission of guilt or liability by Mentoring of America, LLC.
On April 4, 2006 the Utah Division of Consumer Protection (the Division) filed an amended complaint with the Third Judicial District Court of the State of Utah (the Court) against Mentoring of America LLC, John Beck Amazing Profits LLC, and Jeff Paul (MOA). Charges filed indicate MOA breached the settlement agreement dated October 28, 2005 by failing to file the disclosures required to sell assisted marketing plans; honor the three-day right to cancel; and reform its business practices. The complaint indicates that MOA violated the Consumer Sales Practices Act, the Business Opportunity Disclosure Act, and the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act. The Division is seeking: damages and restitution for loss suffered by consumers to date; a fine for breach of the Settlement Agreement; an administrative fine for each deceptive act or practice found to have occurred; and for an order enjoining MOA all acts and practices in violation of the Consumer Sales Practices Act, the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, and the Business Opportunity Act.
The attorneys for MOA have answered the complaint asking the Court to judge that the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, the Business Opportunity Act, and the Consumer Sales Practices Act as codified in the Utah Code are unconstitutional and that the complaint be dismissed without prejudice.
Consumer complaints continue to be filed against the company with the Utah Divison of Consumer Protection.
Mentoring of America LLC is currently facing more legal lawsuits in Utah.

Lloyd,
You CAN get all $12,500 of your money back from Mentoring of America. You just need to know what to do, what complaint to submit, and who to call. I'm going to guide you and show you how. Then only thin I want in return from you is for you to come back to this site, and tell us when you get your money back. I am keeping record of refunds issued by Mentoring of America with my advice. I have helped several others on this site in getting full refunds just in the past two months alone. I have detailed how to do so below. If you want you money back, read it all, and most importantly, DO IT ALL. It will help you get you your $12,500 back if you apply it. If you do what I recommend, you can expect to see your money back in just a matter of weeks.
First things first, if it's still been LESS than 60 days since they charged you $12,500, call and despute the charges with your credit card company. If it's been over 60 days, never mind. Show them the complaints against Mentoring of America that are on this website, and show them about the lawsuits I give a link to below. AT THE SAME TIME YOU DISPUTE WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY, DO ALL OF THE BELOW.
I GOT MY $7,000 PLUS BACK FROM MENTORING OF AMERICA AND YOU CAN TOO:
Mentoring of America LLC out of Utah sells coaching for three gurus:
Jeff Paul
John Beck
John Alexander
The price of the coaching is always based on how much credit you have. There is not set price for this service or product. They set the price on an individual basis, and that's fraud. They can't do that. Does Wal-Mart change the price of it's products at the register based on each invididuals credit line when they walk in? That is why over and over again, on this site you will see people who have paid anywhere from $1,500 to $15,000 for the same Mentoring of America coaching of ten 30 minute calls. All based on the credit limit of your cards. Just enter "Mentoring of America" in the seach box of this site and see for yourself.
I GOT RIPPED OFF MYSELF BY MENTORING OF AMERICA FOR MORE THAN $7,000:
My story matches your exactly Lloyd. Only I came in under their other real estate guru though, John Beck who sells the Free and Clear real estate garbage. It's same fraud Mentoring of America out of Utah and the same phone numbers you posted. The lowly JAYDER SALAZAR is the one who coerced me into this and gave me the EXACT SAME FAKE MONEY BACK GUARANTEE AS TOBY WAGNER GAVE YOU TOO, just to get me to sign up.
I got ripped off the same way by them for over $7,000. They never wanted to give me my money back either just like you, after I realized that the training call info was general public knowledge available free online or the library. I won the battle and just recently got all my money back from them. I have just deposited that check back into my bank account where it belongs.
SHOCKING NEWS AND FACTS ON MENTORING OF AMERICA. WHAT THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW:
Mentoring of America has been sued and hit with lawsuites numerous times this year alone in the past several months. It's been aired on the news. Right now the Utah Division of Consumer Protection is conducting an investigation on them. The state of Utah is taking legal action against them, and the Utah Division of Consumer Protection is helping people get their money back like they did me, because Mentoring of America continues to violate consumer protection laws.
Here is the Mentoring of America lawsuit news report on video that aired on live TV.
Copy and paste this link to your browers. See the video.

FAKE COACHES WHO ARE NOT REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS LIKE THEY TELL YOU:
The so called "professional, knowledgeable, successfull, experienced" coaches from Mentoring of America that you where mislead into paying thousands of dollars to learn from, are regular people who answered a local Utah classified help wanted ad that Mentoring of America places in it's local Utah paper to hire. They advertise a job "helping real estate clients" over the phone. These so called "coaches" are regular people who where looking for a job in the paper, are making no more that $60k a year, drive to work, have a boss that tells them what to do and how much money they make, have no prior real estate experience, and follow some training call curriculum to tell you on the phone what to do. It's total rip off.
This is only one of the several General Help Wanted ads that Mentoring of America places in local Utah papers in the classified section. This is where these phony coaches come from. They adverstise that they are looking for real estate coaches in their local Utah paper the Daily Herald.

People are mislead into paying thousands to learn from some regular person who looked for a job in the classified ads.
I have tape recorded my weekly training calls, and their help wanted ads that I have turned over to the investigator at the Utah Divison of Consumer Protection. This is to aid their investigation on Mentoring of America, and to further validate consumer complaints against Mentoring of America.
PRICE IS BASED ON YOUR OPEN CREDIT/FINANCE. THE MORE YOU HAVE THE MORE YOU PAY:
Mentoring of America sets the price based on your credit and finance. They will ask people how much open credit or money they have available before wanting to give a price. They set the price in direct relation to your answers about your credit and finance. The more open credit you have, the higher they will price it. If you ask for the price before you give them this info, the will dodge the question, and take control of the call without giving you an answer, until after you tell them about your credit/finance.
That's why if you type "Mentoring of America" in the search bar of this site and read past complaints, you are going to quickly find that other people have paid anywhere from $1,500 to over $15,000 for these same 30 minute coaching calls. Why is this? Because these 30 minute calls have no set price. It's based on how much open credit or money an individual person has. It's total B.S. and it's fraud.
FRAUD COLLECTION AGENCIES TO SCARE YOU:
Mentoring of America has used one of two collection agencies out of Utah. One is called "EPN Inc." and the other is the "Law Offices Of Bennett & Deloney", to contact you in some cases if you do end up reversing the charges on your credit card. It's an attempt to scare you and to try and collect back the money that is rightfully yours if you win a dispute with your credit card company. They have no right to try to collect any debt from you, because you owe them nothing. Keep that in mind. Call Utah investigator Ao Pauga at 801-530-6601 if you get any collection letter in the mail from either one of them. He's already been told about this little tactic they like to sometimes use.
FAKE MONEY BACK GUARANTEES AND FAKE PROMISES:
This is what upsets me the most with Mentoring of America. Because their sleazy salesreps KNOW that you are probably not tape recording the call and what their are promising and guaranteeing to you over the phone, they can and do say what ever it takes to get you to sign up and hand over your credit card number. They know that after the sale when you want your money back, you won't be able to prove to anyone that any of TOBY WAGNER'S promises and guarantees where made. They will promise you that you will make X ammount of dollars back in 30 days, 60 days, or whatever. They also give people fake money back guarantees just like they did to you and to me. If I was you Lloyd, I would tape record these fraudsters when you talk to them on the phone and catch them on tape. Then turn those tapes over to the Utah Divison of Consumer Protection along with your complaint form.
VERBAL AGREEMENT AND VERBAL CONTRACTS DON'T COUNT AND ARE NOT CONSIDERED VALID IN UTAH:
Mentoring of America likes to tell anyone who calls and demands a full refund that they have you recorded on tape agreeing to their terms and conditions. And that therefore they cannot and will not give you your money back.
Let me make this perfectly clear to anyone reading this.
The state of Utah DOES NOT honor or consider valid ANY VERBAL AGREEMENTS OR VERBAL CONTRACTS, period.
So weather you did or did not agree to anything over the phone with Mentoring of America does NOT matter when seeking a refund through the Utah Division of Consumer Protection.
HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM MENTORING OF AMERICA:
Print this out this consumer complaint form below, fill it in completely and turn it in immediately. Don't wait until later. Do it right away. You do want your money back don't you?
www.consumerprotection.utah.gov/downloads/complaintform.pdf
Put a tracking number on it when you send it in and keep tracking it. Send any tape recordings along with it. When you see that it has arrived, call and follow up with Utah investigator Ao Pauga at 801-530-6601 about your complaint. His first name is pronounced as "Al".
If you still have it and not signed it, staple a copy of the "Enrollent Confirmation" to your complaint form.
Also get copies of your bank/credit card accounts and highlight the $12,500 charge from Mentoring of America.
Use the "Summary Box" of the complaint form and explain the people's names such as TOBY WAGNER, what exactly happened, and the FAKE money back guarentee he gave you. Also mention the fact that TOBY WAGNER based the $12,500 price on your availaible credit line.
MENTORING OF AMERICA'S MAIN CORPORATE OFFFICE ADDRESS TO USE ON THE CONSUMER COMPLAINT FORM:
Mentoring of America LLC has numerous other offices throughout the state of Utah. Use the address below to fill out your consumer complaint form, regarless of which other of their Utah offices you are getting your coaching calls from.
This is their corporate office:

TOBY WAGNER HAS COMMITTED FRAUD BY DECEPTION. HE HAS VIOLATED YOUR RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER:
When TOBY WAGNER told you that you would be fined a lot of money, and that you would be committing fraud if you requested a refund, he absolutely lied to you. He told you that in order to scare you and deter you from execrcising your rights as a consumer. He knows that is false. They are told by their bosses to tell people that. He has violated your rights as a consumer. You Loyd had the right as a consumer by Utah law to a 3-day right to cancel. You were also given a false money back guarantee by TOBY WAGNER. Just like JAYDER SALAZAR did to me. You need to report TOBY WAGNER and his verbal statements and fake money back gurarentees on the "Summary" box of your Consumer Complaint form. Use the full names of anyone you can remember from Mentoring of America. It's complete fraud.
It's because of lying scammers like TOBY WAGNER that Mentoring of America contnues to face legal lasuits in Utah. He is a scammer, a liar, a theif, and criminal. Just like TYLER TRUMAN, JAYDER SALAZAR, MIKE EVANS, and several other Mentoring of America employees mentioned on this site.
Call and follow up with Utah investigator Ao Pauga at 801-530-6601 about your complaint. His first name is pronounced "Al". He is the man that got Mentoring of America to send me a refund for 100% of the cost when he got my complaint form in the mail. This was after Mentoring of America told me there is no way I can get my money back no matter what.
Don't forget to come back here and tell us what's going on. It sucks to type all this information out for people, only for them not to even come back here to at least tell me what's going on. That's all I ask of anyone who reads my suggestions and gets full refunds.
