Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Well this company starts off with the normal process of contacting you and scheduling an interview. Since this is an online company they do it online through a messenger.  But they do not ask many questions common to the interview. After just some of the conversation they state you may be a good fit for the job.  They will leave you holding for about 20mins + and then come back stating you got the job.

Now many companies who hire normally have hiring paper work.  This job just goes into detail of who they are and what they do.  Now the actual job I applied for was not neccessairly in the description of what was provided to me.  Then I was told that I need a lot of software to complete the job.  The software includes all kind of accounting like Quicken books, and payroll type items.  Then I had to verify I had a all - in- one printer.  *Check Forging obviously* I let it go on though because I guess they believe that all people are stupid.

Immediately I was told that in order to do the job I would be provided with a check to purchase the equipment and software needed to do the job. I just responded with an ok. They overnighted me a "CASHIERS CHECK FROM BBVA COMPASS BANK".  And advised me to keep track of it.  It came VIA FEDex.  I picked up the check and immediately had my bank send it to the fraud department. I had to wait a day for verification, so I told the company that I did not have enough time to deposit.

When I informed the hiring guy BARRY RHODES that I wanted to get the next set of instructions so I can deposit the money and just go take care of the items. He told me I would get the instructions when I deposit the check. I then asked why I could not have it now if it is just work equipment.  He then told me he will get the list once I confirmed it has been deposited. So again I was like ok...

The following morning I decided to call the issuing bank of the "Cashiers Check" and verify the funds.  I provided the lady the information and she came back about 5 mins later stating that it is Definitely check fraud and I need to alert the authorities.  So please be aware and do all research and checks before making transactions.
