During the onsite interview, Ms. Hale was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Ms. Hale explained that the clientele in the music industry often has the end goal of fame, which can lead to unrealistic expectations. Often times if a client is upset it is because their career is not progressing as rapidly as they anticipated. While Jonathan Hay Publicity has the tools and contacts to get the clients product in the right hands, how the media responds to the product is out of their hands. In order to combat any type of unrealistic expectations Jonathan Hay Publicity, "goes above and beyond for every client."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Ms. Hale explained that during their association with SMH Records. Ms. Hale explained that he was upset after he was not asked to continue working with Jonathan Hay Publicity, and he reacted through negative comments on Ripoff Report's website.

In order to assure future clients Ms. Hale expressed that Jonathan Hay Publicity's credibility can been seen through their high profile clients, and well has their ongoing connections with pop media outlets. I contacted Jonathan Hay Publicity looking to use him to help me push my new music. He told me he like what I had and he sent me over a contract that was signed by him that had the information to pay him. He sent it from an email that he said was his assistants email named Sabrana. It was him just acting like he had an assistant. 

After I paid the money directly into his bank account he never answered the phone. I sent him over 20 emails and he never responded. I called from other phone numbers and he wouldn't answer. I thought something might happen so I contacted him from a fake email and he said to contact another one of his business partners and this time it was a guy. This 'email' told me the same price. 

Now I see Jonathan Hay getting his name on the same blogs that I told him to get my music on. 

He didn't do one thing. Not one thing but take my money and never call me again.

We find it unfortunate but necessary to address this subject.

Being that we are among the top of the game, we have acquired a few people who would like to see us fail — haters, for lack of a better word — along the way. One person, in particular, who seems determined to spread slanderous and inaccurate reports about us using numerous fake names and false stories.

These claims are a direct attempt to harm our reputation and our business. This person (and we know who it is) has posted numerous complaints across the web, all of which are false. We believe these posts are a desperate attempt to defame our character and discourage anyone from working with us.

Over the past six months, he has attempted to attack us — both personally and professionally. Aside from writing numerous false complaints, we believe that he has spread nasty rumors online, filed fraudulent (and illegal) claims against us, and has contacted our clients and associates to try and damage our relationships. Thankfully, our clients and associates love and appreciate us and saw these actions as nothing more than an attempt to hurt us.

This only serves as a reminder to us that people are gunning for us because we are among the best in the business. We’ve worked hard to build our reputation, as reputation is everything. We treat our clients with respect and we go above and beyond for them. Never has any proof been presented in these false claims and never will there be, because they are simply not true. We’ve been in the business for almost 20 years without any valid complaints or bad reviews.

Our legal team is handling this situation. We are pursuing legal action against this person, and we expect it to be resolved soon.
