Complaint Review: Joseph Gingerella Black Ice Entertainment - Tacoma Washington

 Our story sounds very similar. A few years ago, my husband's band decided to hire him. Fortunately for us, I refused to allow a penny of our money go toward the endeavor. We didn't have the means to invest in such a thing. His mate paid the $1500, which Joey G states IN THE contract that he can use however he wants - even if it means flying to LA, all expenses on the band, to "promote" them. He kept claiming he had them booked for a supposed music festival on Vashon island. The deal was they had to sell their own tickets (isn't that what you hire a promoter for?) Some of my husband's friends bought tickets. I started looking into it because it sounded bogus to me. Sure enough, I couldn't find any info online about the "music festival." JG claimed it had to be moved because the venue didn't have enough portapotties, or something like that. The new location was Spanaway and suddenly it was a 21+ event. Several underage people had bought tickets from the band, and JG said that wasn't his problem. We couldn't pay those people back, so they got stiffed. When the band started to question JG, he became raving mad, "dropped" them and told them if they tried to show up, his brothers who are in the Hell's Angels, would beat the sh** out of them. I started emailing him about his crooked ways, and much like his rebuttal you see here, he became insulting and threatening to my family-saying he'd sue us for everything we have and accusing my husband of being a drug user. His spelling and grammar are atrocious, so honestly I don't know how he gets any business. Personally I find it hard to take people seriously when they can't write as well as a 6th grader. DO NOT trust this man. Look up court records - he's been sued before.

A few drinks and dinner at the first meeting, followed by ONE BEER at the second meeting is hardly $2k. This is another example of Joe not being completely honest. You can read more about him here:

Pay attention to the comments. I should have. Now, did Joe sue everyone who made a comment about him there as well? That I do not know. The facts in my last post are true, Joe did not send me a post dated check, and has yet to pay me the lousy $2,250 he owes me. I have attached part of the contract this time. If you google the address he lists for his business, I included a screen shot of this as well, it's a strage facility. This review is my opinion of Joe based on my interaction with him, and the sum of the events that have transpired thus far. His lawsuit threat is laughable at this point.

So Everyone The Event was a great event, but it just ended the other day, 3 days of set up and 3 days of take down and takes a couple days to get final counts, to settle and send out checks, The guy writing, failed to mention that. also The person who wrote this also forgot to mention I covered $2,000 worth of him and his friends gormet meals and alcohol for 2 days in Hawaii as they partied like rock stars, and this guy failed to mention his investment was $1,500 and his check was gonna be sent out by Thursday, but now that he has damaged my reputation with his impatiants , Now He will be getting a little extra it is a lawsuit against him for $60,000 for a false story to try to harm my company,  That was a bad move on his part.

The Event he is refering to was The Rivers Edge Music Fest, that took place a few days ago, I had 2 stages the bands Lit, Kimberly Caldwell and 15 other top named bands, And it was a great event So to say FRuad is a joke by this guy It was the biggest event in the history of Polk county Oregon,

All the pictures of the event and bands and people who went can tell you it was amazing and, this guy invested $1,500 to help pay for some radio ads, which again he was about to recieve a check like everyone else a couple days after the event, now I have to sue this guy, for his impatients and ignorance.

Sorry Im not a Fruad for having a huge outdoor event and bands like Lit , Girl on Fire and Divide the day and all the others performing had a great event, and everyone enjoyed it.  Im stupid because i did not recognize this guy was mental and unstable , Oh well do a great event  and one screwball trys to knock it.
