Joy Mills A Lying Photographer Who Has Gone To Court And Gotten Away With Giving Horrible Prints Mocksville, North Carolina
I asked Ms. Joy Mills to take candid photos of my family. She suggested Tanglewood and I agreed. We spent a few hours taking nearly 200 photos. The first 5 prints (and the only prints she gifted) she to us were wonderful and I even bragged about it on my website. She called me to tell me that the photos were done and that she would be giving me the pictures at karate. I not a proper chance to look never got proper chance to look at them. I gave her the check in good faith and not to mention the 5 free pictures she gave to me were good so I thought the others would be too. Well I was wrong. When I tried to show her she got snippy and rude with me. She said it was my fault that the black and whites had purple in them. I tried to take care of this matter and it didn't go anywhere. I took her to small claims and the magistrate was an amateur photographer. I showed him proof of what another professional photographer, proof that Ms. Joy Mills was lying...didn't get me anywhere. Since when was it okay to have purple in the black and whites, faces that are too dark to see properly and out of focus be okay? My case was dismiss. She is now walking around thinking she can get away with ripping other people off. She is so proud that her lies got her out of doing the right thing.
