Let me begin by saying the person I worked with was extremely nice. The issue surrounds the product he was selling. I purchased what I thought was the 5th wheel of my dreams. It was absolutely beautiful. That dream became a nighmare quickly. A word of advice. Do not sign anything until you have taken it on a 30 mile drive. Then look at the condition. I signed everything, pulled out on the interstate and the whole front right corner popped out. I did not notice for 10-15 miles. Thank God the wind did not tear the whole front right fiberglass off. The issue was delamination that was not noticeable when I looked at it. The delam happens when water leaks down the inside of the wall from a roof leak.
I immediately called Glen who was interestingly knowledgeable of the situation. He said they would take care of it. I took it down 3 months later because he asked to wait until the end of their busy season. I dropped it off and 5 months later; it still was not done. I called several times because he would not call me. Finally, I asked him to just sell it and I would pay him a commission. He said he usually charges $500 but he would work with me. I also placed it on Craigslist and had someone call me. I sent him down to the dealership. I contacted Glen and told him what I was doing.
The person called me at Glen's request and we made the deal. Thank the good Lord I am out from under that albatross. If you know what you are looking for an realize the units are mostly in need of some repair; buy it. They are cheap but I would bet there is something wrong with every used vehicle there. Buy new but do not expect service after the sale.
