Kids.com Ripoff Scam dishonest they make me sick Cherry Hill New Jersey
It makes me absolutely sick to my stomach to find out the truth behind kids.com. I signed my son up Nov. 05 and my husband kept telling me this is a scam. Every thing that is listed about the details of how they were contacted and how the interview went is exactly how our process went. Its ridiculous that they get away with this. I just so happen to go online just to look at my little boys picture and I find this web site confirming what I already feared. There are other people who feel just like us. How can they get away with this? I just want them to cancel my so-called contract (that is not a legal document) and I dont want to pay out anymore money - but they already have my credit card. What do I do??? Carol is so good at scamming people it makes me sick. My husband and I did express our fears at our interview. I flat out told Carol that I was told many times not to pay any money out. That a real agency will just take a percentage of what your child makes. Carol reassured us how could this be a scam she said and continued with we are not asking for any money you are just paying for photos and the picture on the web site. This made sense to me at the time. Once I got to the photographer they flat out told me that they have never had a child get work with Kids.com. My pediatricians daughter is a well respected model agent and she was interested in my son. Once she found out I signed with Kids.com she wanted nothing to do with us because she didnt want to damage her good reputation and wanted no association with kids.com. Kids.com will not stop payment to my credit card every month they take $115.00 out of our account. Not to mention the $250.00 full service agreement fee in Nov. I would love to sue these guys and make them go out of business!

Hi Jodi, I too am a parent that was ripped off by the Kids.com Cherry Hill Office. It was Carol that also interviewed us. She is very deceitful. Do not let them get away with this. You have to be persistent. I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the FTC and the Camden County Consumer Protection Agency located in Blackwood, NJ (P.O. Box 9, Blackwood, NJ 08012)(they acutally got me my money refunded). You must file your complaint with the Camden County Consumer Agency as the Kids.com Cherry Hill office is located in Camden County. I also had NBC 10 Philadelphia do a consumer report on my story that aired on the 5:00 news in March 2005. So, dont' give up. Kids.com is a shady company that needs to be shut down.
