I think your complaint would lie better with the person that told you that you had a good case. As for the stated mileage: first of all, I don't think it's even the manufacturer determines this; I'm pretty sure it's done by the EPA. Also, it's been in the news lately that these figures are grossly inaccurate because they are based on ideal conditions that aren't present in the real world, i.e. with no road friction, no passenger weight, and no accessories running. Your actual mileage will always be lower than what the sticker says. Nonetheless, you are getting pretty shoddy mileage for a fairly new, fairly small vehicle. Did you ever try to just fix the problem? If you think you know the part that is actually causing the low mileage, why don't you have that part replaced? Why wouldn't you try that route before filing a lawsuit? Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like that would be the prudent course of action.

Sounds like you got a SMART LAWYER cause she figured out what a IDIOT you were. I bet you are the type who SUES everyone over everything. That is probably why she said she would appeal cause she knew you were a IDIOT & trying to SCAM people. Hopefully you PAID her & she WON as far as making a few $$$ off of you !!!!
