IICRC? NADCA? HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! Thanks for the post! Again I've proved my point. I'm celebrating my 31st year, and the industry is a joke! I wished I could be like one of those organisations that hand out certifications, while collecting money from the bottom feeders, Yes, some are good, but what can I say about the rest? HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! COUGH! COUGH! GAG! GAG! I clean things they can't pronounce! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! It"s time for a industry remediation! HA! HA! HA! HA!

I used to do subcontrator work for Kiwi (Kiwi subcontrats all thire work they don't have employes) Even though Kiwi advertise duct cleaning they don't do real duct cleaning. They are not certifed by the National Air Duct Cleaning Assotiation. (NADCA) All they do is use a shop vac with a hose and vacum out the ducts then the spry emzines in the ducts to help kill some types of mold.( something you can do yourself by buying a 100.00 shop vac and a 20.00 extention) This process dosn't completly clean the duct nor will it remove any mold. If you are serious about getting your ducks cleaned look for someone who is NADCA certified. Don't buy the snake oil. As far as Kiwi in general you right,. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! They don't know how to clean carpet, ducts or upolstery. They take anyone off the street have the go get a DBD ( Doing Bussiness As ) give the a two day class, rent them some equipment and chemicals then send them to your home to work on your expensive carpet. These guys don't get much for their work. Usely around 20.00 to 30.00 per job. This is why they come in and try to sell you a lot of extra stuff and if you don't buy they rush through the job so they can get to the next one. Take the time to read through this site and see all the customer complants about customer service but belive me this nothing compared to what I saw the three months I did work for them. I can still recall getting nasty calls from them because I wasn't doing enough "add ons" ( thats what they call it when you stick the customer with extra charges ) and not doing the jobs fast enough. They would send me text messages saying " If your not adding on get in and get out let us worry about how it looks" I have worked in the bussniess for six years and knew what I was doing ( I am the first to omit that I still have a lot to learn ) But I couldn't stomch the way they were asking me to treat the customer. I wish all the customers would get a class action law suite against them.
