Do not do business with this wretched creature. And do not donate to any of her many charities!! If the issue is smoke-screen vs what's behind the smoke-screen then yes, Kris Wetherholt, and she's not alone, is one of many uncredulous, unscrupuolous only-out-for-themselves-while-claiming-to-be-charitable and decent kind-of people. She was not Joseph Kruzel's "protege," that is a ridiculous claim, especially considering that he has long passed away. I was the Protege of Michael Jackson. The fact is that she is the religious fanatic Jimmy Baker Protege, she is the protege of war criminals. Not to mention, she stinks and is a disgusting gutter w***e. Do not pretend that the language used here is "uneducated" or "low-life" as there are screen shots of Kris Wetherholt's Facebook in which the language which considering they are screen shots, accuartely depict Kris Wetherholt - her own words prove her "uneducated" s***k behavior. Yet, interestingly, Kris Wetherholt's "International Journal of Media and Information Policy (MIPJ)" Facebook page is serene, calm, "professional," in other words - fake and superficial as hell. Kris Wetherholt own personal Facebook page is a menace. The woman posts a few posts about politics, or Iceland or something by The Idealist and she must believe in her mind that this is *work* because the next thing that she begs for is money, or tries to sell you something or some friend's book or "crowdfunding" the beautiful way to say, beg for money. Collect welfare lady and stop begging people for money.
Kris Wetherholt is an amazing con artist. This is apparent when interacting with this woman as she could sell snake oil to the watchmen, sell used cars in the desert. She is very good at wearing the mask in order to suck money out of you, although of course, similar to an evangalist such as Jimmy Baker, she does it with such ease, confidence and style. And no, this woman did not receive a PhD from Leiden, nor a Masters from where ever the heck. It's fabricated and outright lies. The funny thing about it is that friends of hers reading this will be outraged at the unrefined truth but the fact is that they are all unrefined behind the scenes, they are just as guilty, just as pompous and d****ebaggy in reality. They just hide their real selves, they hide and wear masks of the classic textbook bait and switch, Kris Wetherholt gets you to feel sorry for her then subtlely asks, suggests..that you give her money - which is the con artist way of saying, Donation. Do not donate to Kristin Wetherholt. If she has long had a PhD and all of the other Masters degrees listed on her Linkedin can she not get a job to pay for her own s**t? Why does she continue to beg the public for money? It is not crowdfunding when you supposedly have a PhD and 2 Masters, it's called WELFARE.
Although her obnoxious d****ebag egomanical may seem like confidence this woman is a hot mess and to those reading this: Do not pretend you don't know it to be true because it is true. Kris Wetherholt is a conniving human being who constantly name drops and mentions how "kind" she is "to a fault." She does not stop telling the world how she is "kind to a fault." Doesn't stop!!! Over and over and over this woman talks about how "kind" she is. If one is "kind" do they have to keep telling people they are kind? Who does that? It is ridiculously obnoxious and completely absurd. Save yourself and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KRIS WETHERHOLT.

Krisw Wetherholt is a creep and a wretched lying w***e. Do not insult the intelligence - there are screen shots of Kris Wetherholt's Facebook page to which one can very easily deduce that proper manners, etiquette and the like do not apply so save your breath with the Holier than Thou academia speech for it is one of the reasons for the post as it points to the hypocrisy. Many students studied under Kruzel and did so before he went abroad - who cares. What does that have anything to do with Kris Wetherholt. She attaches herself to him like he is her life raft - yet, on other Bio's she has written she actually does state that she simply "studied under" him. So which is it? Still, yet in other Bio's she wrote a paragraph detailing Kruzel's accomplishments as though by doing so she magically becomes like him - it's sick, disturbing and shameless. That woman is a creep, she is a disgusting pig for using his name to try to latch on to his accomplishments. That is the truth. Kris Wetherholt is a money hungry w***e using Kruzel's name to try to be some kind of "insider." She is Jim Baker's Protege. Cry tears so you will hand over your money. Mr. "Eric" or rather, Kris Wetherholt, please stop using Kruzel's name to try to further yourself. Furthermore, where and how exactly is Kris Wetherholt doing a PhD? Leiden is in Holland, complete rubbish. Doing it ? On her LinkedIn, years ago, it stated that she had already completed it. So which is it? Do not use the manners card because lying people who steal from others deserve to be called Liars. Kris Wetherholt is a liar. And if you are a real person and not Kris Wetherholt then you are a sucker.
*** Look at her Bio's and explain how within the long list and dates of the long list --- Where and when and how did she do a PhD in Holland. Furthermore, there is no International Relations. *** Bring it on. Would love to show you the screen shots and allow Kris Wetherholt's words speak as you read it. Kris Wetherholt was not Kruzel's Protege, that is a blatant lie. It is not Troll behavior -- Kris Wetherholt is the dirty lying Troll.

I went to school with Kris Wetherholt at Ohio State. She knew Joseph Kruzel, because I did too. She was both his student and a protegee, and I know personally. I also know she is studying for her PhD. I've known her for years and this "critic" obviously has not. Obviously this person has nothing better to do than to write such crap about someone who is, I would suggest, a better human being than the poster to go to such lengths.
By the way, there is only one charity. She supports others' work, which includes those of friends and colleagues in photojournalism, film, and other areas. I know her to be nothing but generous with her time and with her abilities.
Troll behavior like this, ranting and raving, reflects more on the poster than on the person being posted about. As the old saying goes, "Haters gonna hate," and often it's because trolls and those who write such b.s. like this about someone good, and yes, KIND, and professional, have their own issues that have nothing to do with the person they've chosen to blast.
For anyone who knows Kris, this poster couldn't be more wrong, or more ridiculous. Get your facts straight. I have mine straight, because I've known her since college. Her character, which is the epitome of integrity, has been that way since we both were 18. That's over 20 years ago.
Move on, or look at yourself in the mirror before you go after someone you obviously don't know.
