Lady Of America, Oklahoma City money grubbers won't acknowledge hardship Oklahoma City Oklahoma
The above buiness here in OKC, OK is very deceptive. In December 2002 I purchased a ONE YEAR MEMBERSHIP for my daughter. When she went in to get started, they told her she had to sign paperwork. I had already signed paperwork for the membership. They told her she had NO options--it HAD to be a 2 year agreement. This in spite of the fact that I had already signed paperwork for ONE YEAR.
They told her to sign an agreement to allow bank drafts for two years. She was accepted to nursing school in April 2003 and thinking any normal business would make allowances for her lifestyle being so extrememely changed, she went in to ask for a cancellation of the contract for the 2nd year. They pretty much told her she was crazy and she was stuck.
How is this anyway to do business??? I understand contract agreements, but the lack of understanding is pathetic not to mention the lying to me and her during the contract drawing process. Now she must find a way to make these silly payments on a full-time nursing students money.
It is so dissappointing to see companies are STILL doing the slide of hand rip-off then going on to be heartless. Do these workout places have to use these tactics to survive? If so, then maybe everyone should just jog or walk and tell them to "jump in the lake" I am so sorry I every trusted these people.
