Lance Zeidman - Universal Investments - Hanover & Associates - Hanover Investment RIPOFF, Paid Off Vehicle Account, Unable to Contact, NEED TITLE! Company has MANY Names and Numbers! Please Help! Daytona Beach Florida
In October of 2000 my husband, (then fiance) purchased a 1993 Mitsubishi Mighty Max truck from Tomlinson Motors in Kissimme, Florida.
In November of 2000 Tomlinson Motors was shut down by the government for fraud. All of the account numbers were posted on the business' front doors with different Investment agencies where we were to send our payments.
John's (John Clark) was to go to Hanover & Associates Inc. in Daytona Beach, FL. On the sign was two phone numbers for them and he called the next day.
When he called he spoke to someone named Lance Zeidman who told him to continue payments of $110 every 2 weeks as agreed with Tomlinson Motors.
The first payment I sent them (that I have a money order receipt for) was in December of 2000. This went to a P.O. Box in Daytona Beach.
We never received any response from them regarding our payments nor did we ever receive any payment notices. But, we Needed the truck and paid faithfully anyway.
We did however try to call numerous times throughout the arrangement only to leave messages with a receptionist and be assured that our account was in good standing.
We made timely payments all the way through Mid 2002 when the vehicle was due to be paid off. I have most of the money order slips to prove this.
When it was time to get the title we still hadn't been able to reach Lance or anyone who could REALLY help us. Although we were assured everytime that we were in good standing with the agency.
Now it is approx. 3 yrs. later and I still have this truck which I am unable to legally say we own. I NEED a title.
I have done considerable research on this company as has a law office that I am associated with. They can be found under numerous aliases such as:
1.)Hanover & Associates Inc.
2.)Hanover Investment Partners
3.)Hannover & Associates Estate Plannere
4.)Universal Investments Inc. (Foreign Exchange Brokers)
And today because of this website I found out even more about them through another complaint filed in 2003 by another woman.
A funny thing is that I have 6 different phone numbers, all these names, and only two addresses all linked to Mr. Zeidman most of which are disconnected but when I called one and asked for Lance I got hung up on!
Now all I want is my title and nothing to do with these people every again after that. If anyone can help me get it now that would be Great!
The state DMV said that unless I can reach these people and get my title I will have to wait another year and file for an investigation with the local tax collector's office.
Now we have PAID-OFF our truck and I Just want the title so I can sell the stupid thing. If anyone reads this that can help, including the company in question please do so. Thank you.
