Lazaro Contracting Ripoff Artist, Scammer, Thief, Liar, Takes Money Doesn't Return Hillsborough New Jersey
Roger Lazaro took a deposit from us to replace our kitchen countertop and install a backsplash. He came back and took measurements, however he never returned. After repeated attempts at contacting him by phone and certified mail did not work, we took him to small claims court. As predicted he did not show up and we were awarded a judgement. The hard part is trying to collect. What we finally had to do was put a lean on the title of his house and hope that some day we will get our money back. After doing a background search on Mr. Lazaro I did find out that he has an extensive history of taking people's money without doing the work and appears to have judgements against him totalling more than $40,000. BEWARE-STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!!
