SINGER LAZER STORM VACUUM DOUBLE BILLING ORDER OF VACUUM CLEANER, RIPOFF Los Angeles California

Company

I ordered the Lazer Storm Vacuum on September, 11, 2005. I tried to cancel my order shortly after placing.

WHY?

I read all the bad reports on line about this company. After numerous phone calls even as long as an hour waiting for someone to answer. I tried emailing and the only response was call the same phone number I started with. But it took four days for the company to reply to the first email. I tried yet again after thirty minutes I finally talked to a real person that was no help what so ever.

The only info that Teresa could tell me that my credit card had been billed $371.67 and I couldn't cancel my order because it had been shipped already. That's when I flipped out. She continued to inform me that I had ordered 4 vacuums and the lazer steamer. I told her that I had not ordered four vacuums. I order 1 and paid the full amount instead of 3 payments, then I was to receive the second one for the shipping of $18.00, plus a steamer for the shipping price of $20.00.

I asked to speak to a supervisor, the response I got was that line is busy and she couldn't give that private number out. Then I called my credit card company to dispute the charges. I received the day after the phone call the 4 vacuums no invoice .

Two weeks later the steamer with an invoice that had the 4 vacuums, steamer, and a set of 3 filters I never ordered, plus shipping and handling had cost me $94.00. In the mean time I have either emailed or tried again in vain to call this company. The only response I have received is well, you can ship what you don't want back. So its either pay a high price to send this mess back and get screwed on shipping or be screwed out of $371.67 on a vacuum you can order on line for $59.00.

But I have filled a complaint with the better business bureau. A company such as this should be put out of business for false advertising and screwing consumers.
