Lease Trader offered 50% off on listing on letter from Joanthan Levine, Vehicle Marketing department. Did not disclose I had to chose a certain plan to get it. www.lease trader .com Florida
On Sunday March 23rd I started to lsit my car on Lease trader.com I didn't finish the listing at that time since I did not have photos. Shortly after I received a letter from Jonathan Levine with the folowing:
It has come to my attention that yoru vehicle is in high demand and I would like to offer you a One time discount of up to 50% OFF to list your car now! Hurry and get your 50% OFF discount becfore it expires on March 25th at 11:59 PM EST. Just click link bgelow.
To complete your ad, post your vehicle online, and receive the discount. Please Click Here. Your discount of up to 50% OFF will automatically be deducted from your total. (I clicked the link, selected the Gold package and completed the transaction). A few minutes later I received the involce with no deduction.
I called the customer service # on Monday and was told that had I clicked the more expensive plans I would of seen a discount. That was never mentioned anywhere! when I asked for a refund due to what I feel is misleading advertiseing, I was told no, since the car has already been advertised....basically overnight.
All I was looking for was the promised discount. When I was told no, I asked for a refund, when I was told no, I told them I would list this on Rip off report. Thank you,
