I bought a horse, Trace Six Moons, from Gina Rollins in September of 2010.  She told me this horse was started on barrels and ready to finished the way you wanted. I live in Texas and specifically asked her if this horse was broke and did he have any buck in him. She told me he was very broke and never bucked. All he needed was someone to finish him out on the barrels. So I bought him and the shipper to bring him to Texas. She lied about the shipping also. After I paid her the money, she informed me the shipping was going to be $250.00 higher than the original quote. When the horse arrived in Texas ( the shipper she uses is a rip off to, never called to tell me when the horse was supposed to arrive) the rain was pouring down. The shipper was hateful cause no one answered the phone at 12:00 midnight to say the horse was here. He should have called me. Anyway unloaded the horse and put him in the barn. The next morning I put Trace out in a paddock and left to go out of town. Monday after my afternoon school bus, I told my daughter we needed to ride this horse. She saddled him up and led him into the arena. She got on him and as soon as she straddled him, he flew into bucking. He bucked her off and broke her arm. I called my son-in-law, he came and got on him. He flew into bucking, then reared straight up in the air. My son-in-law went off the backof him. Trace kicked at him with both back feet, only missing his head by about 2 inches. I told him forget him. I'm calling this woman and tell her I don't want this horse. I called Gina and she wouldn't answer the phone. She would not call me back. She has avoided me like the plague. As time has gone on, I found out Trace was born deformed. His knees were rubbing together. He had surgery on his legs at 3 months. He was surgically altered. Gina never disclosed this information. The real owner of Trace, Carol Jessie, knowingly bought him the was he was. She never revealed that he wasn't sound enough for a barrel horse either. Both refuse to give me my money back, knowing they both committed FRAUD!  Gina has ripped alot of people in many states off. She has lied to many people about horses and sold them horses that were crippled. BEWARE OF GINA ROLLINS!

I stumbled on this when looking for something else. But, I did not have a good experience with Gina. She had a horse for sale on BHW which I called and we decided to trade horses, I did ask for more pictures on this horse, but was always given an excuse as to why she could not get them. I was to meet this shipper she used and make the trade. I prepaid the my half of the trip charge to the shipper and when I met him, he unloaded the horse that looked like he hadn't had his feet done in 2 months if not more the shoes were falling off, the horse had funky withers which the picture on the website didn't show thats why she didn't take more pics and send them to me. I figured if the horse was this far off from what I had seen I was not going to take a chance and make the trade, in the meantime the shipper had gone ahead and loaded my horse in his trailer and when I said I wasn't trading, he got on the phone with Gina and they concluded that I needed to pay him for Gina's half, now the payment was for a horse didn't matter which horse, he was just hired to take one horse one way and a horse the other way. So he held my horse at ransom till I paid the money for the trip back....I will never do another trade with this lady. She tried to pull a fast one on me, thank god I didn't go thru with it. At a later date I saw this same horse for sale and called the guy, and guess what the horse was crappy barrel horse...who knew!

I'm amazed at how much you think you know about the transaction that went on between Gina and I. First of all I have tried to return this horse within 48 hours of his arrival. The owner, Carolk Jessie lives in Virginia. The Virginia state law says you have 10 days to return an animal. The problem is Gina ABSOLUTELY refused to give me the owners name so she could void the transaction. Gina is a lying, two faced horse trader. You people think you know OUR transaction but you only know what Gina has told you which is all lies. Why don't she give me my money back, MS. KIDD? You claim she is so HONEST. Why am I, among other Texans, has she frauded out of our money and will not return phone calls. She told me (thru e-mail) that the scars on his knees were from barb wire. That's  a lie! They are from the surgery that was performed on him at 3 MONTHS old. BARBWIRE my Butt! LIAR! Looks like the only people she can sell to are people close by that can with no problems. I wonder if that is because she can't get away with it. Someone might want to have her arrested for fraud! Ask Gina how come she won't give me my money back! All she can say is Trace is a nice horse. Why doesn't she come to Texas and RIDE ol Trace, the BRONC. I have asked her to do that but no she is to scared to get on him. She knows he will buck her butt all the way back to North Carolina and won't let her land in between. The real Truthy is: Trace was full of Drugs when those videos where made. He is not broke and will buck you off. He can hardly stand up in one video when he turns around. Plus he is so crooked in his front legs that he picks them up like a gaited horse when he lopes. Your welcome to come to Texas and view and ride Traces Six Moons for yourself. I'm not hiding any thing. Please Come!

First of all I don't recall you being at my house when my daughter was bucked off. You don't know if I even put a saddle on this horse, you weren't there. FYI  Gina told me if I had proof, she would get my money back. I sent her the proof in the mail, certified, she refused it. So you don't know Gina Rollins as well as you think. This snide won't even talk to me on the phone. You ain't got much class calling me names when you were not there and you have no idea how much I have tried to work with this no account horse trader. How do you know how old my daughter is? How do you know what I put on this horse? Back girth? Saddle? How do you know if this horse ever wore a back strap? FYI I did not put a back strap on this bronc. You sure do think you know what went on at my house. You need to get out of my business and tend to your own. How do you know what Gina paid on the shipping?FYI the saddle cost $3000 and I have my bill of sale.FYI Gina sure took that old riding saddle. She had plenty of time to back out. The horse never shipped for a week after she had my saddle. But why would she, the horse wasn't worth $300.00. I have trained more horses than you you have brains. WINNING HORSES TOO! So you noisy person go stick your head in the mud with the hogs cause that's where you need to be! Oh yea you can buy Trace from Gina she will sell him to you. Watch the videos! He can't even travel sound and they prove it! This paint filly is a 2011 filly and if the other one will load, it is a 27 yr. old Ft. Smith Futurity placer that I raised, broke and trained. LTE over $50,000

My name is Beth Kidd from Statesville, NC and I have known Gina Rollins for years and have had many many dealings with her. She goes over and above to disclose everything she knows about a horse. She offers pre-purchase vet exams by the vet of your choice. I emphathize with Linda for her horse troubles. But the horse is 4 and they are living breathing beings with their own minds. If a back cinch was put on the horse for the 1st time, it is not unreasonable that it bucked. We use back cinches on all our colts and they usually buck until they are used to it. I personally have a 4 year old that I raised that NEVER bucked until 2 weeks ago at the 3rd barrel during the race...I would have assumed he had no buck either...but they can think for themselves.  As far as the shipper goes, he is an independent contractor and you should just report your dissatisfaction to Gina and she will be aware of that before she reccomends him again.

This is how Gina earns a living and you can't stay in business long if you are not fair to people. I feel she is very fair and upright in her dealings. The nature of "Gina" is to tell you straight up..good or bad.  I also feel that anyone who trys so hard to ruin someones reputation should also post their whole complete name, address, etc...like I did in the 1st sentence of this comment. We should also be honest in stating that Gina was told this could "go away" for a price and that legal papers have been filed stating the horse was purchased for more than he was ever advertised for. Maybe we all need a lesson on the truth.

Thanks for Your Time...

As a valued customer of Levumstandin Barrel Horses,

As a regular customer, I have been completely satisfied with Gina Rollins and her ability to sell horses of all kinds (her specialty being barrel horses). Gina has never intentionally misled me or any of her respected customers. This woman, Linda (from New Boston Texas) is a poorly, confused purchaser. Her chaotic ramble about how Gina supposedly sold her a crippled horse is utterly ridiculous. Gina is a rare, one of a kind sales woman who truly takes pride in her business and holds the up most respect for her customers, most of which come back time after time to seek Ginas help to either buy or sell a horse. Her reputation with selling and consigning horses is in impeccable shape. If a customer has had an issue Gina has always done her best to subdue the situation to the best of her ability, sometime she is not required to do since horses are sold in AS IS condition. Yet Gina is a sensible, woman that expresses compassion. Levumstandin, her own horse farm and website, has a page dedicated to some of those sold with testimonies from the customers completely gratified (it is impossible to have every testimony because it would be countless pages long). For someone, meaning Linda to express such harassment, defame, and slander Gina in the most vindictive way is revolting and unthinkable. This woman obviously is just another low-life trying to get over on a hardworking, prideful person and ruin their honorable name. Basically, trying to make a quick buck on his or her own stupidity and recklessness.

FOR ONE, the womans daughter is a grown adult, not a child. Anyone who really knows, rides, or owns horses would agree getting to know a NEW horse is the best way to get what you are asking of them. Placing the horse in the stall, for who knows how long, and the only time you have ever spent with it was saddling him up and hoping right on his back, is not the way to go about it. Which leads me to

TWO, a backstrap (a flank strap used to make bareback horses BUCK) is not a smart idea to place on a four-year-old colt, which has never used one before. This colt was not trained with a backstrap and after being informed the idea was not recommended Linda fussed that he would learn to use it. Nevertheless, to insist that a backstrap would be used is idiotic.

THREE, it is unclear how her daughter saddled the horse is a mystery in itself. The horse could have bucked for several different reasons, considering he bucked after being saddled. The girth might just have been too tight, or even the fact that a BACKSTRAP was placed on the horse could have disturbed him. THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW!!

FOUR, The implication that the horse is knowingly crippled and Gina intentionally overlooked the fact is a lie. Gina openly and willingly offers, with every horse, a VET CHECK (as known as a PRE-PURCHASE EXAM). To whom that dont know what a VET CHECK is, it is a quick and inexpensive precaution of horses, when a VET will declare if a horse is sound, with different levels of a basic exam would include flexion tests, heart rate tests, breathing etc. before and after exercise. The vet may also watch for stiffness or lameness while the horse is being ridden or led. He will check the horse for any obvious signs of lameness or illness. They will listen for heart murmurs, clean lungs etc. (When purchasing a used car, ask for a CARFAX) SAME IDEA!!!

FIVE, There are two (2) YOUTUBE videos of TRACE SIX MOONS, the horse Linda purchased from Gina. VIDEO 1 & VIDEO 2 In both videos, the horse is loping and rounding barrels with a breeze. A whip is used and the horse does with it asked of him with NO problems. The same two videos that Linda viewed, found herself pleased enough to purchase the horse. (THIS HORSE HAS NO STUNT DOUBLE!!!!)

SIX, Gina is only the seller. She does not ship the horses she sells personally. She is kind enough to recommend a shipper that most, if not all her customers use. This shipper uses a luxurious horse trailer to ensure that they are keep comfortable and safe on intense and long journeys that some endure. So when Linda states that her paid price for shipping is $250.00 more than her original quote, (an estimate, not a set price) Gina, out of the kindness of her heart, paid half ($125.00), something a FRUAD would never do! Since Gina Rollins is on the other spectrum, far from a fraud. The shipper arrived late because of weather conditions, something Linda states herself When the horse arrived in Texas (the shipper she uses is a rip off to, never called to tell me when the horse was supposed to arrive) the rain was pouring down. THE RAIN WAS POURING DOWN, indication that the roads where unstable and a threat to the shipper who showed great courtesy and took his time to ensure the safety of her horse.

FINALLY, Gina has not ripped anyone off. There are no past customer complaints posted of any kind of scam or rip off indications on the World Wide Web about Gina Rollins. You are the first of any kind to have done so. I am now talking directly to you because the past statements I have expressed were to ensure anyone who may have read or will come across this ludicrous rampage of your misrepresentation of Gina Rollins were informed correctly of the important details you so conveniently forgot to mention in your poor story. A story with no real evidence that Gina did anything wrong but selling you a good, prospective horse. I would gladly take Trace Six Moons off your hands and offer this piece of advice, find a new hobby since you are obviously not the horse trainer you professed to be when you contacted Gina wanting to purchase Traces Six Moon offering $1,200 and a saddle that was suppose to be a barrel saddle, but after you sent it, was revealed that saddle was just a regular old riding saddle, worth only a fraction of what was allowed you towards the purchase of Traces Six Moons.  With this being said, I have to ask, who is the real liar and scammer here?  I say, Linda Purifoy of New Boston, TX.

I have many dealings with Gina and Levumstandin Barrel Horses and have been completely satisfied. I have both purchased horses from her as well as consigned horses with her to sell and I have always been impressed with her professionalism. There has never been any hassel, she is straight forward and tells you how it is. I have never known her to lie or deceive and her nationwide reputation of selling honest, safe, sane barrelhorses speaks for itself. Of the many horses Gina has sold not only all over  the USA, but Canada as well, this is the first complaint I have ever heard directed towards her business. I guess the old saying holds true... You can't please everyone, today is not your day, and tomorrow doesn't look good either!
