The digital video camera 12MP SVP HD and 2GB SD memory card in total value of $220.00 was purchased on eBay on June 27, 2007. Items 140118336620 and 140131133522. The unit was of poor quality so it was return to seller. Seller is claiming that he/she never received it. He/she opened dispute on eBay yet with no results. However I was getting responses from him/her via the dispute console contrary to other claims listed here.

Unfortunately there was no tracking number to verify the delivery and the person who received that. Now the camera-camcorder + memory card is gone and the money too. I filed claim with Canada Post to see if I can get at least some insurance money back as a part of their service. As I learned from previous cases the individual is not responding to any e-mails or phone calls, so I do not expect any miracles in this case either.

The buyer received the item, that was not poor quality, and claims to have returned it. However, he doesn't have any proof of returning it. Not a tracking number, not a confirmation receipt, nothing. LIKE IT WAS NOT RETURNED. I manually looked through 3 months of returns, and don't show I have the item. This is unfortunate for him, but it has nothing to do with our company and defrauding them. The buyer claims 'He/she opened dispute on eBay yet with no results.' This is false. I didn't open a dispute on ebay, I opened a case in squaretrade to help the buyer directly, kindly, and politely address his issue, which I did. His next statement reads ' However I was getting responses from him/her via the dispute console contrary to other claims listed here.' I dont know what this means. What I can say, is there was no contrary information given to them, thats why we opened a squaretrade case to have a documented proof of the communication. We didn't receive his returned item, and he has no proof of returning it. We have been consistent in our requests to him, to show us proof of return, and we have been timely and polite in looking for the item on numerous occasions. If I had the item, I would credit it. If the buyer returned the item, then show us proof of return and we will credit it. The buyer also claims '. As I learned from previous cases the individual is not responding to any e-mails..' this is 100% untrue. My email address is [email protected] and we reply to every email in 0-48 hours, and we are not open Weekends or US Holidays. Additionally, the buyer made this comment to us while we were kindly helping him locate his item: 'My step son bought the item under my eBay ID. We live in Canada but have a shipping address in Michigan. My step son bought the item under my eBay ID. We live in Canada but have a shipping address in Michigan. I think this tells you a lot about this transaction, the buyer lives here, the shipping address is here, my step son used my account, etc etc. The point is don't let other people use your account. And dont mail anything through the post office without getting a tracking number, or have someone else return it for you or use your account. Final note, the return policy on the auction read to contact us before returning anything to us. The buyer did not. This may be an unfortunate situation for this person, but it has nothing to do with fraud and lindas camera world. This site is the fraud for giving people a forum to make false claims to harm honest sellers businesses without looking into the situations at all. If we were dishonest business people, we wouldn't have an ebay account with over 20,000 positive feedbacks over 7 years.
