****LINDENWOOD UNIVERSITY IS A SCAM** Please beware and do not go to this school and please do not send your children to this school. this collage is just a business to them, they do not care about its students they are there to just make money! i went to lindenwood for under grad and grad school i owe almost 100k in tution. but that is not the reason i am reporting. there are some classes that lindenwood did not add to my student loans and still to this day cannot give me a reason why. they went out and charge me outright for the classes,
i told them i would make a payment plan but wasnt working since i just got out of collage. i was told to send in when i can i was sending in funds and then all of a sudden i got a letter stating that they sent my account to a collections. i called the colletion company and was told lindenwood sent my account to them. i didnt understand because i was making payments to lindenwood. so i made again another arragement with the collection company to pay my debt. then i noticed for a couple of months my payments were not being taking out.
i called the collection company and they said oh lindenwood took the account back this was 3 months and i didnt hear anything from lindenwood. i called them they told me that i owe the full amount again! i was like no i do not have a letter in my hand showing i have been paying the collections so then they were like oh well you still owe us some money. at the the end of the day i paid then with a credit card. the total for the class was 3k i wind up paying for colleions penities total of 1k. i have emails showing i had set up payment arrangements befor they sent it to the collections, had arragements when they sent it to collections but they still.
1. charge me for the class outright 2. charge me fees for cpllections 3. did not work with me at all when this whole thing from the begining was there fault because they forgot to add the class to my student loan. **pleas do not go to or send your childen they are just out to get your money they are a business they are not a college/school they do not care about thier students they just want to charge people for thier wrong doing and not willing to work with you. the business office is the worst!
