We are a repossession comp for local banks through out Florence. We arrived at the home of Lori Grender in Florence Or, we were hired to repo a 2004 Cadillac Escalade that the Grenders had defaulted on. They had a judgment for NSF payments and no insurance. When we arrived at the home we were quickly approached by Lori stating that she had a bank check ready to send out and we could take it. So we told her as long as it was a Bank check that we would accept it. She went inside and came right back out with a bank check. We did take the check and released the SUV. It took about 12 days for all hell to brake loose. That is when we were notified the check was a FAKE... So we went right back to there home and it was empty. No forwarding address, nothing. So we lost our fees, we lost our client and we still have nothing to show for it. So beware if dealing with this couple.

This report supposedly filed by a "Gavin" is false. It was actually written by a guy named David Sutton from Indianapolis, Indiana as an attempted retaliation because of numerous Rip-Off Reports written by me and others who were scammed by him regarding purchase of vehicles that he did not deliver on nor refund money.
The first clue that he wrote this report is that he is a terrible speller, as is confirmed by him not knowing how to spell the name of his supposed company.
Second, there is no company in Florence by the name of R&R Repossession (not to mention that he misspelled "Repossession" and "Florence").
Third, my husband's name is not GREG.
Fourth, we sued David Sutton and his wife Wendy in Small Caims Court in June, 2009 (Case 5822) and WON the judgment showing that he had not delivered a quad we purchased from him via a wire transfer of funds. (We have a notebook almost 2-inches thick of correspondence, emails, and documented phone conversations between David Sutton and I showing his lies and excuses claiming he did ship the quad to us.)
After he was served, he called the court clerk and "claimed" that he had never been served the papers but that his "son" had been served instead of himself so the service wasn't valid, even though the process server wrote a description of him as a 48-year old short, bald, heavy-set male.
We still live in Florence, same house and would never drive a large vehicle like an Escalade that he claims we owned. I have never met David Sutton in person, but caution anyone who might think of doing business with him regarding the purchase of a vehicle to BEWARE.
During our ordeal, I was in contact with many people all over the country and Canada who had been scammed by David Sutton over several years. He has used several different names for his company (Imac-Auto-Brokers, Corporate Auto Brokers) and was shut down several times by Ebay due to complaints from people being ripped off. Some had been sold vehicles who had been stolen, lots of people complaining he never sent them a title (which also happened to us, even though they claim they sent it to us). We even spoke to one person who took in a quad to a dealer who told them that it looked like it had been underwater for some time.
We also found "our quad" relisted on Craigslit, and confronted him about it. He said the truck driver who was supposed to deliver the quad to us brought it back to him and he needed to resell it in order to get money to send to us. Of course, that never happened. He also went so far as to represent himself as Charles D Sutton (instead of David Charles Sutton). Just do a search of David Sutton on the Ripoff Report and you should be able to find some of the complaints. My original report was submitted October 5, 2007 (Report 277302).
David Sutton still lives at 2464 S. Audubon Road, Indianapolis, IN 46203 for those of you who may be trying to find him.
