Account was in the name of: Saul Sadler...MAGICANTIQUESVINTAGE..Party offered a rare collectible comic which usually retails for over $15k on e-bay for $1750 with free shipping..party couldn't accept a payment via e-bay checkout system...offered to send me an invoice via paypal to settle for this item;yet would not explain why it couldn't be done via the e-bay checkout system.Notfied e-bay for contact info on this seller was given a contact # ending in 3903..Called and the party on the phone was very evasive..was told he was unavailable and would call me back if i left my #.Party then re-issued the book at e-bay at a starting price auction of $99 a knockdown price of over $1600!!!...Called again and was told that the assumption was i didn't want the item & that was the reason it was re-listed.Very suspicious actions indeed.Called e-bay was warned not to pay after giving them all the details..Informed Paypal who said they were going to call the contact # on file to speak with the seller..They tried 2x at 10:00pm...no one answered...very strange again..i received a call for mr.sadler from a different # ending in 4700...asking when i was going to pay the Paypal invoice that was sent to my registered e-mail.
Called paypal again told them what occurred...a security advisor at paypal told me not to pay,since e-bay nor paypal would provide the $ coverage in the event this was a fraudelent transaction..Seller's account was less than 24 hours old!! more suspicious facts...hmmm..reminded again today to pay my invoice asap...
i backed away..if it smells bad it often taste the same...FOUL
Stay away from this seller...proceed at you own RISK...is a con man using e-bay and paypal to defraud buyers...form the clarkville,indiana area

Party informed me because of issues with Paypal (blaimed the site) part of the e-bay check-out procedure...they had restrictions receiving money..offered to create a paypal invoice from their end to settle the acct of this book...stay away from this option it violates e-bay & paypal's protection...if you check out this way your money back protection is voided.
Paypal put a "restricted" use on the sellers account due to questionable actions & activities..Seller then offered to resolve this matter by offering the use of Western union & money gram to resolve this obstacle.(off-site and no record of this transaction).Paypal invoice was cancelled by seller..Party offered to absorb all fees on my behalf if i sent "instant money" via western union on a Sunday..And told me if i paid by 4:00pm;they would take the item to a Fedex station open on Sunday for delivery on Monday..(free of charge) to make sure i got it promptly next day..This was a "red flag"since Fedex stopped working on Sunday's over 1 year ago...I stalled telling them i needed time to get the funds....Party (Samantha) called again asking "how was it going?" when i told her i only get a few hundred dollars in house for emergencies..She informed me i could sent the funds $1750 in 2 transactions and she would absorb the fees as a loss for the inconvenience on the western union site..loss of over $100 dollars!!(odd)...who takes a loss like this....i offered to send the funds bank to bank to save the fees.. she told me "my bank doesn't offer this service" another "red flag".
Finally i told her my bank had a cap of $900 fo this type of transaction and it would take "3 days to clear" from my bank.
She countered to send the book asap if i sent the initial offering of $600 via instant money and to hurry since their was a storm coming and she wanted to make sure;My book got shipped out on Sunday.The remaining balance could be sent the next day as a "good will" for all the problems.Post office and Fedex are all closed on Sundays. (remember)..
I contacted the proper parties who gave me a control (mtn # ) to verify intent of fraud by this seller when used.
Party called my house 4x ,my cell 1x and e-mailed me (4x) to get the MTN #...i was then informed by outside parties that the same book with the same CGC # was being offered for sale on CRAIGSLIST=LA listing for $1000 after being sold on e-bay for $1750...Another loss of $750 dollars form the e-bay offering.Book was being put up as "bait" to defraud any poor seller who took the offering.Pure-rip off by the seller...
To date... i've been threatened by the seller to report me as trying to scam them..After they got caught trying to use the phony MTN # and even to report me on this site as revenge....Go fiqure...STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS !!!These people (SADLER'S) of Clarkville,IN will RIP you off!!!
...........................Even now the book is till up for sale on CRAIGSLIST-LA..as of 11/18/13...........
