Complaint Review: Magnum LED Grow Lights - Internet

My name is Cammie Mckenzie.  I am an open transsexual.  But being open and honest about who and what I am leaves me vulnerable to prejudiced individuals like Jay Ravede who hide behind "Anonymous" user names because the information they post about me is in itself fraudulent, and they don't want to be sued for libel or defamation.  His actions are illegal, but I don't respond in kind, nor do I hide.  

Who am I?  I am a board member for a company called Hydro Grow LED.  I am also a founder of the company which has been in business since July 2009.  Ever since a reporter outed me publicly online, I have been the victim of numerous hate crimes and prejudice, to which you are now a witness of.  I kept my gender identity private for many years to avoid the persecution and prejudice I now face on a daily basis from transsexual haters like Jay Ravede.  But truthfully all this "fraud" and "scam" talk began back in 2011 when I turned a customer in to the police for trying to steal approximately $8,000 from our company. 

The person's name was Jon Bell, who lives in Bozeman, Montana.  He bought some lights from us, we accidentally shipped him an extra unit, and he refused to return it (theft).  We explained to him that unless he returned this extra light, we would not warranty the other units he purchased.  In kinder words he said "screw you".  A few months later he called to say he had a problem with a light.  I re-iterated that unless he returned the extra unit he did not pay for, we would not warranty his other units.  So what did he do?  He filed a chargeback against our company with Paypal, taking over $4,000 in cash from our accounts while he was still in possession of the lights this money had purchased.  I won the paypal chargeback, proving he had made the purchase (to which he claimed he did not) and was in posession of our product (with shipping receipts).  After this he tried filiing another chargeback with his credit card company, pulling the funds from our account once more.  At this point he was in posession of $4,000 in cash plus $4,000 in merchandise.  I called the police and told them about how Jon Bell was trying to defraud our company.  And what did the police do?  "Sorry maam, it's not our problem".  Eventually the credit card company forced Jon Bell to return all the lights to us, and he was refunded.  But he didn't stop there.  No - he went online creating as many "Scam" and "Fraud" reports against me as he could.  But what fraud or scam did I commit?  None.  I did what any intelligent business owner would - I protected my company against a theif.  This same fraudster then turned around and pointed the finger at me, calling me a fraud and the rest is history. 

From that point on Hydro Grow's competitors saw a weakness - I was a transsexual and they could exploit me to no end.  I became the scapegoat for the entire LED Grow Light community, and one by one competitors started making false "fraud" and "scam" reports about me calling me these things, but never actually stating what fraud or scam I had committed.  Instead they say I abandoned my children (who live with me in the summer) and many other attacks against my person and character, which have absolutely nothing to do with Hydro Grow LED.  Then whenever they had a customer say "How do you lights compare to Hydro Grow" our competitors would respond "Oh you mean Scammie?  Go look at these reports that are filed on the web... She is a scammer, a fraud."  Of course they can't discredit Hydro Grow, or our lights, because we are the most respected name in the industry (contrary to Jay's assertion that Hydro Grow's reputation is so bad I have to "hide" behind other companies?).  But rather than attacking Hydro Grow LED, they instead attack me - for anything and everything (true or not) unrelated to my company.  And it has worked because I never publicly announced I am a transsexual - which gave them the power.  But that time is now over.  I'm not letting these ignorant haters hold this over my head any more.  I'm taking a stand and re-claiming my identity.  Nothing can be worse than what these people have put me through already. 

So take everything you read with a grain of salt.  Jay Ravede refers to me as "It" in his ripoff report, and makes sure to tell you that I used to have a different name.  He has gone elsewhere on ripoff reports and attacked me outwardly for being a transsexual.  He is an angry, prejudiced individual who has (like Jon Bell) tried to defraud my company.  He makes false accusations against me and is trying to blackmail me.  I feel sorry for his wife, Susan Ravede and sons Noah, Brett and Jordan Ravede who are innocent victims to all of his libel and defamatory acts.  If only they knew the type of man their father/husband was and the crimes he has committed publicly and how it might affect their family.  But draw your own conclusions.  Anyone can say whatever they want about you online, and once it's online good luck getting it off!
