Manny Pappa ripoff car sale West Hurley New York
I bought a used 1995 Ford Escort with 146000 miles for $700 cash and was told the only problem was a broken muffler pipe and would probably need new battery soon.
It took every penny I had for this purchase. After taking the car for free estimate at Munroe in Kingston, found the car is not safe to drive and would not pass inspection. Tie rod broken, brakes no good, muffler broken, battery no good at all. It will cost $1500 to repair. Manny said he had car inspected day before sale, and, if so, he must have had someone he knows do it because no one I've been to will issue inspection sticker. The car broke down 9/23 (3 wks after purchase) and cannot be driven. Driving this car could cost me my life. Manny's cell phone is 845-679-5712 and home phone 845-679-2545 and he lives with his mother. I can't even file a lawsuit against Manny without transportation.
