I hired The Master Craftsman to cut and install 16 treads and 18 risers plus small landing on my staircase.
The 16 treads and 18 risers were NOT cut accurately or straight.
All of the treads were SHORT in length.
All risers are NOT leveled properly.
Job was NOT completed. He did not clean up after himself and left all the mess behind, took his equipment and left the house.
Since then, he disappeared and stopped answering my phone calls.
I paid him 50% of the amount agreed on by check $425 ( which I will never get back).
I lost over $700 worth of materials and hardwood treads and risers. Have to reorder again.I have to restain and refinish the treads all over again.
