Well I was excited to receive my new mattress after 12 years with the old one. I upgraded to a King size and was looking forward to a little more real estate. I scheduled delivery for a Monday thats when all the h**l began. They hired a subcontractor to deliver the mattress who knocked a 100lb antique header off my wall swinging it into my wall putting a bunch of holes in the wall and narrowly mising a priceless piece of art and putting some nice divots into my hardwood floor. Needless to say the driver spoke NO english. I called the dispatcher to find out the driver is of course NOT a Mattresss discounters employee and that someone would call me back. # of calls later and they were still telling me someone would call back to discuss further. They said I had to wait to give the subcontractor the benefit to fix, so I did. He made an appointment and never showed. I waited for 3 hours with no calls. So approximately a week ago I walked into the store asking for a refund of my delivery fee and they agreed. Well over a week later I decided to check and lo and behold it was not submitted. So now I have to wait another 7-10 days. In the meantime Mattress Discounters Tech Operative has called me to setup and appointment for today, 8/10. Now this took all of 1hr to coordinate, why couldnt they have treated a customer like this from the beginning. Yes I am pissed that they caused the damage but if this rep takes care of the problem I will be happy but I am still left with a damaged antique to repair and my $ refunded.
