I traded in a 2003 S500 Benz and bought a 2003 Cl500, both cars were bought from Zach. It took them two months to pay the trade in off. The lender said that they never received payment for the trade in. My credit report showed a 30 day late payment for a car that was traded in. I called Luc and Bridgette in finance and they were never available. I then finally got thru to Olga in the title department and she didnt know anything about. After then speaking with Albert, so called Sales Manager, he said that he would handle everything. Nothing happened.

I went back up there in another car so they wouldnt recongnize me, saw Zach and made him get Olga while I was on the phone with NBC and a friend at the radio station. I told him that if I didnt speak with her right then and there, I was going to have the media up there in 30 minutes. After finally talking to her and Albert, the trade in was finally paid in full.

The new car, 2003 CL500 that I purchased was not the same car that I test drove. When I went back to pick the car up, the push button start didnt work. The ABS and check engine light came on 2 days later. I spoke with Paul in service and they could not find my warranty from Easy Care. When Luc did the financing, he did not cancel my old warranty from the trade in and purchase a new one for the new car. He said that I should contact Easy Care and they would handle the warranty.

After speaking with Easy Care, they stated that they do not sell warranties to consumers, but only to dealership and to contact them. I never got a response from MCLS. so now I am trying to get a warranty from Orland Park Benz. If I can not get a warranty from them, I will have to trade it in because ABS issues are very expensive and I'm not trying to go that route.

I am driving on expired tags also. Now I have to go the Secretary of State because the dealership is now closed. My friend went up there today to check on her warranty and she stated that the police in a bullet proof vest walked up to the car and told them not to come back up here anymore. I am so glad that they are closed. I have several cell phone numbers for them. If an attorney needs them, please email and I will provide them with no problem. lets get some legal action on these clowns!

Watch out for Luxury Motors, they do the same thing!

I traded in two cars for one at MCLS Autos in Bridgeview on 03/27/07 - since the loan to value was high they made me purchase SAFE-GAP total loss protection plan for $695.00. The finance manager informed me that it's the only way for me to get a loan. So, I purchased it... and now on 03/13/09 my vehicle was stolen and has not been recovered. I still have a loan on this car with Wells Fargo Auto Finance, my insurance company paid out a chunk to the loan company since it is a total loss. Once the claim with my insurance company was completed, I filed a claim with Safe-Gap, I sent in all the needed info including front and back copies of the GAP contract. About 10 business days have passed, I called Safe-Gap for an update on the claim and was informed that the claim is denied becuase the dealer never sent in a payment for this plan nor a copy of the contract. It's weird that Wells Fargo Auto Finance knew that I have GAP coverege and they sent them info about the loan, but GAP had no record of me ever having it. Which means that MCLS charged me for this service - protection plan and kept the money for themselves. They never sent payment and screwed me over. Now I have a balance on my loan, don't have the car and need to make payments. This is horrible.... I also read so many testimonials from people about how they screwd them over. One of the owners of MCLS was Lester Bafia, he interviewed with a magazine called EXPRESS where he provided his phone #, so I am providing it: Lester Bafia 708/906-3594 he mentioned that every one of his clients will be satisfied and will resolve every issue. Well, I called him many times, left messeges, but so far have not heard from him. Tha GAP company told me that I have to go after the dealership, and that the balance on the loan is their responsibility since they are the ones that charged me for GAP, never sent in the payment and now I can't even use the service. I can't even find them anymore, I have no idea where to look or what to do. The balance on the loan is about $9,000 and I can't afford to pay this for nothing, and I don't even have that car. Also, I was informed that if they filed bankruptcy then I can do something about this, but if they didn't then I can't go after the dealership, since they just packed up, locked up their doors and left. If anyone knows anything please, please let me know. Something must be done about this, and someone must have some kind of information about them. MCLS and the owners must pay for all this damage that they have caused people. It's just not right. If anyone knows anything please let me know. I contacted attorney general office, but no response. Thank you.
