Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Initially interested in a 2014 model, I took one (a '14) for a test-drive and liked it; intending on buying it.  The sales rep at the RV show, (at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena) suggested we park it and look at some others just to be sure.  So we did, and being it was a particularly hot day, he also suggested we leave the keys in it and allow the A/C to cool it off while we walked over and looked at the others.  We looked at the others, and when we returned not long after, the one I'd test driven was GONE.  He then suggested we look in the area where the similar models were parked.  We found one that looked similar, but was a 2011 model and about 20k dollars less expensive.  He took us inside, saying how this must've been one "left over" that didn't sell and that's why the price was what it was.  (insinuating that it too, was new)  Upon signing the down payment check, he then comes around and says he's checking the milage. (?!)  Which was 55,000 !!!  Well, needless to say, this was NOT a NEW RV, nor was it even a "left over" .... come to find out later, not only was it pre-owned, but it was also A RENTAL IN CANADA!!  Unfortunately, being that I'd already signed the papers, we were unable to do anything about it.   He'd let us test drive one, then sold us another.  DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!  No matter what location, (b/c they have many - most of which sell at the RV shows in different locations) no matter what sales person!  They are snakes!

So let's see here.  You take the time to test drive a 2014 model.  You then go looking around at other RV's at the salesman's urging.  You actually go inside another RV and look around.  No Test Drive, and apparently they didn't even start it up.  Yet according to this report as soon as you find it is 20,000 LESS you jump on the deal and are willing to fork over several thousand dollars.

Perhaps you should go look up the definition of "Bait and Switch" because this is not.  Did they "pull" some very slick salesman tacticts..who knows.  But if they did YOU let them do it to you.

So you didn't drive the secnd one, didn't look at the mileage and didn't question the salesman and this is the dealers fault? I don't think so. It is up to you to check the vehicle out. What the salesman says means absolutley nothing!
