Medco Health Solutions endanger members' health, harass physicians who write certain prescriptions, charge exhorbitant fees ripoff Lexington, Kentucky
Medco Health Solutions are currently under investigation by the consumer protection division of the Kentucky Attorney General's office, for not paying for valid and medically necessary prescriptions for no good reason other than this corporation seems to think members'medication is a pick and choose proposition for them.
This organization charges outrageous fees. In return, three times in the last month, I have had a prescription either delayed for several days while Medco harassed the physician who wrote it-demanded that he write at least three times that my medication was medically necessary-or in the worst case just plain refused to pay for one, for no good reason.
Appalling that this outfit has a license to conduct business and that the individuals involved haven't faced personal and professional charges. It is only a matter of time until they kill someone by withholding a prescription if they haven't already.
I cannot imagine any administrator who is aware of Medco chosing them for their employees in good conscience.
Hopefully they will be shut down or reorganized swiftly, with minimal damage to unsuspecting people needing their prescriptions.
