Medco Reward Program Of America Adn Nort America Consumer prize reward 2007 in the amt of 36,600 sent check to cover taxes/fees Columbus Ohio
I recieved a letter from Reward Program of America and North America, the letter came from canada, however the letter head had an address form New York and then the check eas from Medco company out of Columbus Ohio. The letter contained muliple grammatical errors and the number fo the reward were inconsistent.
I was to deposit the check that they includes for 4998.75 to help pay the taxes and fees and then they would send the rest of the money 31,601.25
The check they sent looked very real except that the routing numbers and the account numbers were not is US format.
This is a total scam and we should be able to go after these people. If you were not careful it would have been very easy for me to deposit this check and have my bank account wiped out.
