Mepco Insurance Premium Financing - Great Atlantic Warranty We beleive these guys company do not exist, they never answer the phone Carol Stream Illinois
My husband and I were contacted by phone by a Mr. C. Perritt, on Oct 22, 2004 after we had boughten our Pontiac, Montana. We were told this is the extended warranty that is available to us in May of 2005 when our original warranty runs out. I was told if I purchase today (10/22/04), by Mr. C Perritt, I would get 6 months free warranty and my $50.00 deductable would be waived when we ever have to take our Montana in for repairs.
Our total cost was $1727.00, we had to pay $345.40 down payment with 12 payments after that of $115.13,and this would be bumper to bumper coverage. Our coverage is to end 10/21/2008. We have a problem with an electric window and have been calling for weeks to see if this is covered and I am always put on hold and after time cut off. I did get to leave a message once so they can call me back and that hasn't happened, and now the message box says it is full. Again I keep calling and put on hold then told to call back at a better time and cut off. Needless to say weeks have gone by and I have spoken to no one!!
My husband and I feel this isn't a true company, anyone can keep a phone number listed and empty the messages from time to time.
I have all my original paper work for this warrenty and the contract they sent me, with Mr C. Perritt's signature on the contract and also a Mr. Greg Hensley, so they obviously have gone through the trouble to make them look very real, but they do have my money and I feel they are nothing but a rip-off company and I want my $1727.00 back. I have never had to use the warrenty thank goodness, they probably wouldn't honor it any where if I would have had to use it.
