Merchant Services Protection Plan Merchants Discount Health Plan MSPP, MDHP Sunrise Florida
Merchants Service Protection Plan and Merchants Discount Health Plan were added to a merchant account that I previous had and closed.I was never asked if I wanted these services, and if I had been, I would have declined them. Five years ago the business was sold, but the bank account remained open to be used for consulting work. Recently I found the charges on my bank account and saw that many other people were being ripped off by this company.
When I called the compnay to cancel the charges, I told them I cancelled the merchant account years ago. They informed me that their services (which I never authorized) had to be cancelled seperately from my merchant account. I insisted that I never authorized these charges and the customer service manager said it was my fault for not checking my bank account. I am furious. I paid this ripoff artist $78 per month for the past 5 years on a merchant account that was closed ($4680). They refused to refund the money, or even a part of it except for this month's charges.
My bad for not checking the account more thoroughly, but I did not expect to see unauthorized charges because I did not buy the service. I do hope that someone is investigating this company. This is bad business. They are getting away with stealing money and I doubt that their services are even real. Their website looks like a hoax without any real information and no mailing address.
Buyer beware: check your bank accounts for charges from MDHP, or MSPP they are crooks.
