Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
When I purchased my New Compaq Presario computer the sales person told me that if I got the printer with the computer the printer would be FREE after rebate. When I went to check out the girl at the register gave me five (5) reciepts for the computer and also for the printer plus all the mail in information that was needed to receive my rebates.

Well some time later I got a post card in the mail that states that " We appreciate your purchase BUT unfortunately your submission for the Micro Center rebate offer was invalid for the following reason(s): Limit one rebate per product per household. Now I bought a computer and a printer now as far as I am concerned thats one rebate per item per this house hold.

I can tell I am going to get no where here from what others are saying about this ripoff to hard working consumers. So I hope someone reads this and will not get Ripped off as I have. I did comply with all their regulations on submitting to Micro Centers Rebate Center which by the way is $100 Rebate Mico Center Offer # B0606-314

Now to tell you the truth is it in a big companys interest to rip people off for the price of a rebate? Well I'll tell you they just lost a good paying customer. I cannot trust a company that does not stand 100% behind all they do from the beginning of the sale to the long term commitment to the customer.

I did receive a survey in the mail which by the Vice President of Sales asks for your candid opinions to help improve shopping experience. To tell you the truth their is nothing candid about it. Its all yes or no answers to preset questions about how they sell. Not to get off the subject but when I called the number from the post card which is (888) 645-6516 and they tell you the website to go to to check out your rebate info. you can bearly understand what the person is saying and even when I did get the website to retreave my info. it said their was no name on file.

This is poor buisness pratice to say the least and if I were you I would check RipOff Report first before making a purchase. As I should have before I got the full price of this computer.
