I ordered a case (4 bottles) of Frequensea online from Healthy4life.com (ForeverGreen independent distributor). I received an e-mail on the same day with the following message: "Hello Healthy4life.com, A new order attempt through your Mangosteen Rewards Inc. - Healthy4life.com account on 1ShoppingCart.com has FAILED. Order Details: The reason for the failure was: Declined - Pending Merchant Approval." I then received a message back from Mike Vincent stating, "This order is good, thanks."

November 1, 2007:

I e-mailed Healthy4life and asked about the status of my order, since I never received the product. I received an e-mail back which said, "I will look in to it and get back to you. Thank you, Mike Vincent." I waited a while to see if the product came and it never did, so I tried calling Mike Vincent (586-580-7004) and I had to leave a message. I received no response.

November 15, 2007:

I sent an e-mail back to Mike and stated that I had been extremely patient and asked why I never received the order. I also asked that my {PayPal} account be refunded the $158.95. Additionally, I called again on the 15th and the man that answered said that he was Mike's father-in-law and would look into it. I told him I wanted my account credited. The father-in-law said he'd pass along my message. I still have not heard any response since then. I received my credit card bill for this product.

My credit card payment was due on the 5th of December, so I contested it. Unfortunately, my credit card company contacts the entity that put the charge on it, which was PayPal, so I don't know how far I'll get with a resolution. I contacted PayPal and filed a claim, but when the seller was contacted, he never responded back (typical). PayPal ruled in my favor, but could not recover a refund from the seller's account because they told me that the "seller's account does not contain the funds necessary to cover this refund." PayPal said they took action against the seller, but I wasn't provided the details of this action. I was charged through Mike Vincent's Mangosteen Rewards account.

I contacted the ForeverGreen Corporate Headquarters (makers of Frequensea) and discussed this matter with a representative. The representative spoke to her supervisor and I was told that distributors sometimes buy their product in bulk and then distribute it independently. Therefore, they have no record of my purchase of this product.

MORE DETAIL INFORMATION:

I found his phone number online. It's listed under his wife, Julie's name and is 586-274-2980. After doing other searches, I found a picture of he and his "wife" (?). If this is in fact his picture (could he be that stupid?), he appears to be a balding middle-aged man (48 years old as of the date of this report), his birthday is listed as October 7. He appears very overweight (perhaps he needs to try using his own products). His wife has long brown hair and also appears to be very over weight. His middle name, I believe, is Andrew.

Other names listed as possible relatives on a particular search engine were, Marvin A Vincent (related towns: Rochester, MI); Julie A Lienard (wife's maiden name?) (related towns: Oakland, MI); Barbara C Vincent (Sterling Heights, MI).

I found 2 other reports here at ripoffreport.com for this individual under Healthy4Life.com. Other websites that he is under are: Mangosteenrewards.biz; speedyhealthsupplments.com.

After filing a report with my local police department about the merchant, an officer contacted the merchant's home and received an irate response from the lady who answered the phone. The officer contacted the local police department for the Sterling Heights area and I was then directed to file a report with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (at www.ic3.gov/). I did so on January 15, 2008. As of this date, the ICCC home page reads, "The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA)." "IC3's mission is to serve as a vehicle to receive, develop, and refer criminal complaints regarding the rapidly expanding arena of cyber crime. The IC3 gives the victims of cyber crime a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of suspected criminal or civil violations. For law enforcement and regulatory agencies at the federal, state, local and international level, IC3 provides a central referral mechanism for complaints involving Internet related crimes." This website asks for a lot of information, so the more information the victim enters, the easier it is for the authorities to help. I would suggest this site to anyone who has any fraudulent dealings with this merchant's web "company(ies)," or any other fraudulent internet merchant. I was charged for the product immediately after I purchased it (October 17, 2007). However, only after starting a long paper trail of complaints, and only after I contacted authorities, did I finally receive my product from the merchant - months after I ordered the product. The BBB in Michigan also contacted the merchant, but finally closed the case because the merchant would not respond to my complaint. I am skeptical whether I ever would have received the product I purchased, if I had not contacted the authorities.
