Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On July 9, 2007, I recieved a call from this company. My husband and I being first time homeowners thought this product would be great. Well, we were wrong.

First we asked about unclogging our drains. We were told that this would work. We have a 30 day trial if we are not satisified. This representative gave me a number if I needed to call back. Guess what it is a fax number.

Next, we called to return the product and were told that the wrong product was sent to us. The represenative wanted us to keep the product we have and send us the correct product. And he still wants us to pay when the first payment is due on August 9, 2007. No free trial.

We told him we were not interested and just wanted to return this product. We could not get a word in without being inturupted. We were told that there were 5 other customers on hold. We hung up.

All in all we do not want this product or any other product from this company because they messed up the order. Trying to return the product is impossible. I have decided that I am going to return is c.o.d.

We still do not know how this company got our phone number, it's unlisted.

Anybody else have this problem or suggestions?

#2Consumer Comment

Thu, December 13, 2007

I just received my box of enzymes from Miller Plante, Inc. It has been sitting on my counter for a few weeks - with the promise to my husband that before I open it for trial that I research consumer complaints and product viability = I gave permission to a cold caller to ship the product without discussing it first, with my husband. So today, I have spent approx. 3 hours - reading comments on this site and others ...then searching the web for product information. I have read a paper on conservational use of bacteria enzymes and came across one very informative site on bioaugmentation...http://swopnet.com/engr/Septic_Tanks/Bioaugmentation.html I have decided upon my own personal research to use the products sent to me and invest the monies I agreed to pay to Miller-Plante, Inc. over the phone --- if you read this article you, too will find that using such products does not guarantee a miracle cure for all sewage problems but does in fact, work solely with the cooperation of the household - ie: non use of bleach, not overusing your system with a major use of water, etc., and most importantly to use the product consistently to introduce bacteria every 30days so if you have used Bleaches, or other products that kill these enzymes you replenish them. My husband and I just purchased a new home on an acreage and it is private sewer and well with a drain field. When we moved in I was using the washing machine constantly - I wanted to clean all of our moved in belongings...Later I noticed the sewer backed up in the basement ( a foul smell as well ) and the toilets didn't flush. I called a plumber and the pump had to be replaced - the previous owner paid for the plumber visit as he felt bad that the pump had failed. We still notice the smell every now and then....espec. after a lot of water is used. So I've had it with the smell and stopped procrastinating and did what I promised my sceptical husband what I said I would do....RESEARCH. To my dismay I stumbled upon this site, and read report upon report of scam, rudeness, past employee scathing comments BUT I have not read any reports disputing the PRODUCT - just the customer relations and problems with returning the product.....this is very confusing to a consumer - espec. to myself ...when I'm am looking to educate myself about a PRODUCT not soley the nature of consumer relations. I do NOT condone the any rudeness or shadiness on the part of the company - however, I as well as all the consumers reporting on this site do have some ownership on the permission we gave to have the products shipped to us. I feel silly for agreeing to do so prior to doing any research on the legitimacy of the company and/or products. Shame on us all...I hope the article will lay to rest any of your reservations on bio-products any of you have and I sincerely hope this takes care of my sewer problems.
