A sorry bunch of empty promises .....

I haven't yet sent in my $100 'refundable" yet, but after reading here, I won't. I was invited to the presentation in Troy MI, for galleria travel company...upont arrival there was confusion bout my reservation (I had received a special phone call the night before to confirm that I would be attending, was asked specifically NOT to bring any other adults, then when I arrived they asked me where my partner was and told me I would be unable to see the presentation withut my partner) and gave me the travel certificate for free.

I was excited, thinking "phew, I avoided the whole borning presentation." then I begin to read the very fine print, notice that there are no phone numbers to reach anyone, and am skeptical when I am essentially going to end up sending roughly $200 by the end of it all to an address I dont even know exists. So, I will hereby rip the certificate up into teeny pieces but still have one question for the CEO that seems to have so much time that he continues to update his emails on this site daily avoiding ALL questions:

TO MR. B.CUMMINGS: WHY IS NO ONE RECEIVING ANY CONTACT FROM YOUR "LONG-ESTABLISHED" COMPANY AFTER THEY SEND YOU THEIR MONEY? ANSWER THAT....WHY SO MANY PEOPLE? AND NO RESPONSE? STAND UP AND SPEAK SO WE CAN PERHAPS BETTER UNDERSTAND EMPTY PROMISES.....

NOTE: Rip-off Report launched a complete investigation on this particular situation and found that Mini Vacations had no control over promises another company makes when marketing their vacation coupons. Even though Mini Vacations is not responsible for another company's actions, they have been giving FULL refunds to anyone who has contacted them, and has even given more than they should have in the name of good customer service
